Rural and peaceful countryside setting with direct access to A31 which is a few minutes away. Listed walks, mountain bike routes, coarse fishing lakes & garden centre, all within walking distance. Two local Public Houses within 10 minutes walking distance, one showing open air films during the summer months. The modern garden room with both bifold and patio doors at either end make the room an open air living space leading onto both patio sun traps. A Beautiful, Peaceful Cottage
Quite simply the most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in. Perfectly designed and decorated, the garden room especially was fantastic. All went smoothly, from the welcome provisions supplied by Tonya, to the Waitrose delivery a few minutes after we arrived. Great for walking along the country lanes, looking enviously at thatched cottages and stopping at the nearby country pubs. Thank you Tonya for a gteat stay in your cottage.
My pleasure, thank you so much for your kind words.
Exactly how described. Homely stay.
Would just like to say again thank you for your home. It was exactly what we needed to have a smooth relaxing holiday. It’s was our baby giris 1st break and it was an enjoyable one for her too. The environment around us was very tranquil and had peaceful nights sleep. The place felt homely and had all the essentials that u would need and little extras. Thank you for our welcome package too we enjoyed eating them. My family had lovely days out to the local farm, beaches and the model village. Also enjoyed playing games in the evening and snuggling watching film. Thanks again
Chris Chaplin and family.
It was a pleasure hosting you, thank you for looking after the cottage so beautifully.
Cozy cottage in a quiet area
Beautiful large kitchen with all modern conveniences. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is downstairs. Cozy seat outside. Two fine pubs within walking distance. For long people, the doorways to the kitchen and to the bathroom downstairs are low. But you get used to it quickly. Ample parking space. Great base for a few days to explore Dorset! Welcoming reception and lots of brochure material about the area!
We all had such a lovely short stay, this is a beautiful property which is well equipped. The beds were so comfortable and the showers were great which makes a change. The hostess was so accommodating providing a travel cot and setting the beds up as requested, Tonya was always quick to reply to messages even at the weekend.
We truly had an amazing stay and provided good memories for a dear friends birthday.
Would highly recommend and look to come again
Thank you so much for your kind words and for looking after Sunny Cottage so beautifully. I look forward to hearing from you if you do decide to return.
Highly recommended for family outings
We stayed in Sunny Cottage with our two girls and the grandpa during our long weekend break in Bournemouth area. It was a wonderful stay. The cottage sits in a quite and peaceful countryside, with easy access to the nearest town centre. The home has some vintage decorations from Asia and was in a very comfy and tidy condition when we checked in. Kitchen facilities are very good. There is the swing in the front garden and a lot of children's book collections that my girls really enjoyed. Watching the reindeers on the other side of the fence after our day-out was also an amazing experience. Highly recommend for family holiday!
Beautiful home from home
My family and I booked this beautiful property for a 3 night family get together and we weren't disappointed. Such a beautiful cottage which really lived up to its name as the temperatures soared and we spent a lot of our time in the pretty cottage garden. The house itself is clearly a cherished home and extremely well appointed with all appliances and very comfortable beds. A wonderfully relaxing break and everything we hoped for and more. No detail was left to chance. Would highly recommend this property. Thank you Tonya.
Deborah and her family were a pleasure to host. Thank you for looking after Sunny Cottage so beautifully.
