We had a problem with the property when we arrived as it wasn’t ready but after a call to the owner this was quickly rectified .
The property is in a fantastic location close to Ambleside with plenty of walking and shopping in the area.
After the confusion at the starti of the holiday we had a really great week.
This is a great place to stay for exploring Ambleside- we didn't use the car at all during our stay. The apartment was bright, clean and welcoming . The two ensuite bedrooms suited us two friends perfectly. I'd definitely stay there again.
A perfect apartment in a perfect position.
This apartment is in a lovely position. It is on the outskirts of Ambleside, far enough to be peaceful and feel secluded yet close enough for a short stroll into town.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Great apartment in a great location
Lovely apartment in what for us was a perfect location. A very short walk to a great town with lots of good restaurants and shops, but the apartment is in a location which feels and sounds rural. Would recommend the apartment and will definitely book again when we return to the Lakes.

The apartment is well equipped and clean. Arrival is by a key code, not even a welcome message so rather impersonal. Apartment is approximately 15 minutes walk to the town and also plenty of good walks directly from the property. It was disappointing that only one change of rubbish bag was left, especially as there is a problem with Lakes recycling so only glass is recycled, everything else goes in one bag. One toilet roll per bathroom and only one set of towels per person provided (1 bath size and 1 hand towel) and two tea towels. For a four star property it seems penny pinching. There is a washing machine but only an airing frame for drying. Dishwasher tablets provided but no washing machine tablets. Would recommend the apartment but clients should be forewarned about the lack of some basic necessities.

Ambleside has a wide selection of walking shops, independent retailers, cafes, restaurants and bars as well as convenience stores, cash points and a cinema. Close by are tennis courts, pitch and putt as well as a selection of cruises on Lake Windermere.

Booking Notes: Bookings can be made by e-mail with a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation, with full payment 4 weeks prior to arrival. If booking is within 4 weeks of arrival we require the balance in full. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque. A damage deposit of £100 will be taken when the balance is paid and returned once the property has been inspected. Changeover Day is Saturday Weekend and week breaks may be available in low season, please e-mail with your enquiry.
