Ideal location for exploring North Wales Coast line, Chester and Liverpool

Why sandra White chose Holywell
Two years ago we saw Lilly Cottage as a derelict, unloved property, we fell in love with its character and saw the potential of this to become our weekend retreat! As a family we have worked hard on this property to realise our dream. Although we still use Lilly Cottage we believe that others can enjoy it and the surrounding area.
What makes this Cottage unique
This small but perfectly formed cottage has quaint exposed beams and inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove, which we have married together with modern technology. The old miners cottage now benefits from all the mod cons. Keep a look out for the free roaming sheep who like to take a wander down the road!

Cozy and inviting
House was very cozy and had everything we needed.
Bed was very comfortable, slept like a baby.
Beautifully clean and we will definitely go back.
The cottage was lovely inside. Outside needs bit of work and parking outside a bit precarious. Didn’t get details of how to access property until they day we were arriving after emailing. The weather was fab. Went to sit in garden but not clear as seems to be communal. Overgrown and overflowing bin so not pleasant. Thankfully the inside made up for it.
Perfect weekend break
Me , my wife and my little girl absolutely loved our stay in this terraced cottage . Perfect is the only way I could describe it . Will most definitely be wanting to stay again 👍🏼
We had lovely weekend stay at this cottage, here for a family wedding!!
Had everything we needed as family of four, very homely & comfy. Good location to get everywhere, plenty of places to go & see, shops & pubs etc nearby too. Would certainly stay again.
Just the tonic I needed
I loved this little cottage.. As soon as I walked through the door, I felt ' at home'. I wanted to use the open fire but forgot to bring a lighter or matches! It had everything i needed and i loved every moment spent there. Just sad to leave it. Thank you so much Sandra.. Hoping I'll be back soon.
Hi Mariea I’m glad you enjoyed your stay there are always matches in the basket sorry they must have dropped to the bottom
Cosy home from home
From the second you walk into this lovely little cottage to find the fire laid ready for you you know you are most welcome.
Beautifully appointed with fabulous attention to detail this property is a pleasure to stay in.
All mod cons but olde worlde charm make a lovely combination.
Would fully recommend and plan on staying again.
