*Golf at Vista Ridge!! Ground floor condominium, 1273 square feet, built in 2005, double master floor plan, each bedroom has private patio with sliding door. This has hardwood floors throughout, all stainless steel appliances, and every other upgrade offered. 32 inch wide-screen TV. King-size bed.
This condominium is right across from our Blue Sky Condos clubhouse where the exercise facility, outdoor pool (seasonal), and year-round hot tub are located.
*This is a well respected golf course, operated by the University of Colorado, and situated in the Vista Ridge developments. It is a public course, and has it's own corporate management. No special rates are afforded to the condo complex.
My wife and I were long-time Colorado residents (NW suburbs of Denver, then Erie vicinity) but began spending the cooler season in Arizona. Our primary business is rental property...short-term vacation type, as well as residential...in both Colorado and Arizona. We manage all of our properties ourselves.
We are baby-boomers and immensely enjoy our home here in one of the Del Webb active adult resort communities in the Phoenix west valley (we're essentially year-round now in AZ).
Like all of those who lack inexpensive access to health insurance, we are waiting to see the unfolding future of health-care in America.

We try to maintain a homey feel in the condo. It probably has a bit more than needed as far as furnishings and how it is equipped, but we want you to feel comfortable there. We encourage feedback if you notice something not being there that should be.
We absolutely consider bookings of any duration, though very surprising to us, has been that the majority of our guest stays have been for month-long, or 2- or 3-month stays. Reasons for travel among our guests have been varied, though one reason stands out far more than others...retired couples visiting adult children and grandchildren who live in our locale. If you appreciate a visit without having to stay in THEIR home, this condo is for you! NO STEPS to climb, a second bedroom so the grand-kids can stay over if you want, and that 'home away from home' feeling.
My husband and I stayed here for one week while moving our daughter into her new house. Great spot and the condo was clean and well equipped. My grandsons loved the pool and playground and even spent a night in the spare room. The owner was great to work with and we enjoyed the area so much we have we bought a condo not far from this one. Five stars from us!
My husband and I stayed here 6 months. We found the condo to be convenient to most amenities (a new grocery store is opening about 5 minutes away soon) and especially enjoyed the miles of walking paths in the Vista Ridge area. This condo is across the street from a small work out area (cardio and machines), hot tub and pool. There are lots of small playgrounds for younger children.
The condo has two bedrooms both with large closets. Living/dining/kitchen worked for us (personal preference would have been a gas stove, but not big deal).
The owner was responsive to requests for updates to cookware and was readily available to answer questions.
The nearby Colorado National Golf Course/Clubhouse is open to the public for golf and the Friday night prime rib special is great!
Boulder proper is a unique experience. It offers many varied dining and entertainment opportunities. Pearl street, especially during summer, is a big attraction for nightlife. A few miles out, we have especially enjoyed Nissi's as a pleasant venue for musical groups (we like jazz but they book a variety). Dinner is small plate style so you can sample more than just one entree. Closer to the condo, in old town Lafayette, there are a number of delightful places to eat. We have enjoyed Efrain's (Mexican) on the east side of Public Road (main street) but be prepared to wait.

The rate structure we use doesn't blend perfectly into the VRBO Quotable Rates format. So please note:
Rates for 2 and 3 week stays, and our charge for extra persons, may be different (usually lower) than shown. Cleaning fees are typically $85 to $130, depending on length of stay, number of persons, and beds used.
There may be a rate premium for dates around the CU graduation and holidays. This does NOT affect my actual rates for longer bookings like a month. Quotable Rates will not reflect the premiums, so you will need to inquire.
Payment terms are agreed upon with the owner, and then those are specified in a written lease agreement. Typical payment terms are by check, bill-pay, or deposit to our rental account at Wells Fargo. Our typical security deposit is $750 to $1000 for monthly bookings; possibly lower for short stays. The security deposit is separate from the rent.
