Dreamwater Villa is a magical place where you can become one with the water. A beautiful waterfall sits just off the front porch with an entire glass wall and doors opening up to it from the living space and loft. This brand new villa has all modern conveniences including a large walk in rainfall shower, and ultra high definition viewing window from the king size bed that lights up the creek under the house at night. Just off the master suite is a small deck that sits over a crystal clear mountain pond stocked with rainbow trout and a beautiful gravity fed fountain. The master has a pillow top king bed, and the loft has both a twin and full size bed with beautiful views of the waterfall and creek. We also have a second lodge on the property(The Unicorn Lodge) in the event you need additional space for larger groups.

About Ryan Huett
This is the second villa Tammy and I have built on our amazing property in the cloud forest of Costa Rica. I am a winemaker in Oregon and Tammy is a nurse. We try to spend as much time possible at our favorite spot on the planet in Costa Rica.
Ryan Huett purchased this Villa in 2016
Why Ryan Huett chose Pérez Zeledón
This is a once in a lifetime vacation experience. I built this villa spanning the creek with the small waterfall just off the front the deck. You immediately become part of the creek as the water flows through you at all times. We are able to control the water flow as we diverted the larger creeks to form our trout ponds, so there is no chance for flooding.

A beautiful place to get lost in the mountains
My girl and I enjoyed our one night stay here. Everything was just lovely.
We really enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and in a very pretty elevated valley. If you want to see a Quetzal, look for large, round seeds on the ground that look like avocado seeds (in fact, that is what they are-wild avocados which do not have much body). Then look up. The birds feed on these and drop them out of the tree.
Very neat house.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The area is remote, but yet there are various restaurants and small gift shops nearby. There is plenty of hiking around the area that we also enjoyed. The house itself is nice and we enjoyed the small waterfall only feet from the back of the house and the pond only feet from the front of the house. Even though we hardly ever saw them, the neighbors were very friendly and helpful in answering questions. Although it didn't lessen our trip, it is helpful to know that it can get chilly in the home, especially if it is raining.
San Gerardo de Dota is located off Highway 2, about 2-3 hours from San Jose and 2 hours from Dominical. Like everywhere in Costa Rica, signage is not the best; however, there is a small sign at the turnoff. It helps to keep a lookout for kilometer markers. San Gerardo de Dota is located at kilometer 80.
Once you turn off Highway 2, you’ll descend into the valley for about 15 minutes, maneuvering down several steep switchbacks before arriving at the village. Just one main road runs through town so there’s little chance of getting lost.
Leave early in the day: Driving after dark on Highway 2 is not recommended. The road is windy and steep and visibility can be very limited when it rains or the cloud cover increases.
