Quaint campground cottage ideally located to take in all of what Oak Bluffs and the Island has to offer. Walking distance to beaches, shopping, restaurants and bars. Rent a bike nearby and the adventure awaits you. We will be back!
This Gingerbread Cottage was indeed charming; everything and more than we expected. We chose to bring our adult children along and it turned out to be one of the best family vacations ever. Something for everyone including easy access (i.e. walking distance) to shopping, restaurants, and fun activities (we went bowling). A really great central location made for a perfect starting point for trips to Vineyard Haven, Edgartown, Tisbury, Menemsha and Gay Head (refuse to call it Aquinnah). Accommodations were very comfortable and there was no need to bring anything along as it was fully equipped with kitchen stuff, TV, VCR, and all kinds of games and puzzles. And oh, by the way, a terrific view of the harbor as we enjoyed an end of the day libation on the private patio. Outstanding!
Wonderful Campground Cottage.
"Tight Squeeze's" location is perfect. There are not too many cottages in the campground from which one can look out at the harbor while eating one's meals. And almost everything one might need is just a short walk away on Circuit Ave.
The cottage is well equipped , spacious, comfortable and pretty. Also the outdoor shower is a great feature. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming . We have greatly enjoyed our stays there and plan to return .
This cottage, called Tight Squeeze, is a delightful place to stay on the island. The back porch/deck has a spectacular view of Oak Bluffs harbor and is forever changing with boats on the move. The cottage has a warm feeling and is comfortably furnished. Drinks and a BBQ dinner on the back deck are a lovely way to end an active day. It's walking distance to the harbor, ferry, island bus, restaurants, shops, grocery and all of our needs. We strolled along the harbor many times enjoying the boats and the people.
We are looking forward to flying from the West Coast to a return visit. We have Lake Tahoe but not the ocean.
We are fully booked for the season. See you next year. Thank you!
