The Inn on the Intervale is a three-story log home offering 8 bedrooms, each w/full bath in Judique, Nova Scotia, at the entry point to Cape Breton Island, including the Cabot Trail, Bras d'Or lakes and Celtic Colours.

Approximately 40 min scenic drive to Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs golf courses. Practice your chip shot on our property!

The Inn on the Intervale is a unique, 15-year-old, 4,500-square foot log home with 8 full-bath bedrooms offered to travelers including two comfortable sitting rooms, as well as a screened-in sunroom porch overlooking the Intervale Brook.

The lodge has sitting areas, a sun porch for relaxing or dining on the brook, a front porch, as well as spacious grounds surrounding the lodge, including a pleasant, grassy walk to the Intervale Creek. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a small interior dining area.

The lodge was built by a Judique native, the late Duncan A MacEachern, and his partner, Carole Levens, who still summers at the lodge. Your hosts are Duncan's sons and their families, who are carrying on their father's tradition of making the Inn a warm and comfortable for friends and friends-to-be who have traveled great distances to visit Cape Breton.

The Inn is a quarter mile down Stoney Brook Rd and we haven't a lot of neighbors! Our "neighborhood is the magnificent Cape Breton forestlands and hillsides surrounding the Inn, as well as the picturesque Intervale Brook below.

The Inn is located right off the main Cape Breton drag, Highway 19. It is our guests' access to everywhere on Cape Breton Island.

Other Things to Note

Also available are three furnished longer-stay apartments in a separate building next to the Inn. There is ample parking in our spacious front yard

About Owner/Property Manager

This unique log home was built by our father, Duncan A. MacEachern, and his good friend, Carole Levens, in early 2000's. With the passing of Duncan it is now owned by his eight sons. We decided in 2016 to open the home to guests via HomeAway.

In addition to the wonderful log home we also have a separate building with 3 apartments we use for short-term use. Each apartment has full kitchens, living area and one bedroom.

Owner/Property Manager purchased this cabin in 2000
