Wig Carna is a wonderful holiday house situated on a secluded beach between the popular resorts of Rhosneigr and Rhoscolyn on the north west coast of mainland Anglesey.
The house is reached down a private lane and sits on its own 2 acre plot with direct access to the beach. At high tide the beach is totally covered (including the access road on very high tides), low tide reveals golden sands and rock pools, its the perfect location to explore, go for long walks or simply sit back and enjoy the amazing views; on a clear day all the way to Snowdonia.
Wig Carna is a well loved family home. It sleeps 10 and has a separate baby room with a cot. The sleeping accommodation is in 4 bedrooms; 2 bedrooms upstairs (a double and a twin) and 2 bedrooms downstairs (a double and a bunk room with 2x bunk beds in) All bedrooms have washbasins in them. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 upstairs (shower only) and 1 downstairs as well as 2 separate loos downstairs.
The kitchen is a newly fitted eat-in kitchen which can seat 10 people. It is well equipped with all the usual utensils, large fridge, electric range cooker and dishwasher. There is a larder equipped with freezer, microwave and fridge. There are clothes washing facilities in a small drying room (no drying machine).
The day room consists of a very spacious sitting room with large sofas, TV and DVD player. It also incorporates a more formal dining area with direct access to the kitchen via glazed double doors. At the front of the sitting room is a double glazed sun room with access on to a balcony which over looks the beach.
All bed linen is provided and beds are made up on arrival. Please bring your own towels and beach towels. The house is centrally heated at no extra cost so can be enjoyed year round. There is also and open fire in the sitting room and coal is provided free of charge.
Dogs are welcome at £30 surcharge each per week but pets must be kept out of the bedrooms at all times. Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in the house. The house books from Friday to Friday, no arrival before 4pm and please vacate by 10am on the day you leave.

A security deposit is also required whilst you rent this property. A house information pack is available on arrival detailing all local amenities and details about bins/recycling and parking if the tide is across the road!!
Finally please be aware that this house is very near to RAF Valley and low flying jets are very common in the area! The adjacent farmers field houses runway lights and you can expect weekday flying and at certain times of year some night flying. More information can be found at the RAF Valley website
