My fiancé and I had a great experience at the cabin. It was very clean and the layout was beautiful. We will definitely stay there again in the future.
Beautiful home, immaculate condition, rustic charm. Even in the middle of summer, we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and pit, as well as the hot tub, as we watched the fireflies dancing across the night sky. Would definitely return for an intimate get-away!
Relaxation for the win!
We rented the cabin for a quick anniversary getaway, and had an amazing time! The cabin is beautiful and well appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub, and just sitting outside to enjoy nature. It’s a perfect spot for a couple’s retreat. Owner was very responsive to the one quick question we had. We will be back!

Another Great Trip!
My husband and I enjoyed our third stay at Dixie Lullaby. Mendy is always a pleasure to work with and the cabin is absolutely beautiful.
Just off of 259, nestled in the Ouachita National Forest, our cabins are within minutes of Beavers Bend Resort Park, Broken Bow Lake and Mountain Fork River. The options for your adventures are endless. Rent a boat and go out on the lake, fly fish in Mountain Fork River, fish for bass, whitewater, canoe, hike, horseback ride, hunt, ride ATVs or play a round of golf.
About Mendy Tapp
My husband and I are born and raised Texans, we have two young girls that keep us really busy with school activities and fun! Jeff went to Austin College in Sherman and I (Mendy) went to Dallas Baptist University and then UT for my MBA. We currently live in McKinney, TX and love music, traveling and keeping up with our kids and family.
Mendy Tapp purchased this Cabin in 2016
Why Mendy Tapp chose Broken Bow
We fell in love with Broken Bow about 3 years ago when we visited for the first time and after a year or so, we decided to build this cabin. We wanted something unique that really represented the feeling we wanted to have when we were in Broken Bow so we have added authentic barn wood, local blue pine and rock and our own few touches to make it special.
What makes this Cabin unique
This spacious cabin has windows every where you look! Being from the city, my favorite thing to do is wake up and just look around at all of the trees, they go on for miles and miles. We have an outdoor wood burning fireplace as well as a fire pit, so the opportunity for S'mores are endless. There is also an outdoor hottub with a private cabana. Living Room and Bedroom have 55" 4K HDTVs and the cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer and wifi.
