I have been to Fort Collins many times, but usually stay with my inlaws on the outskirts of town. Being in town instead was HEAVEN! We walked to Library Park to play and visit the Little Free Library, to Urban Egg to eat breakfast two days in a row, and all over Old Town just for the fun of it. When we weren't out and about, we were enjoying the basement apartment and pretending we lived there permanently. I especially loved having some food items in the pantry, and getting to leave a jar of honey behind for the next person instead of throwing it away like I would have to at a hotel. The owners are fun to talk to, also, and made us feel very welcome and even took a great family picture of us on their front porch when we checked out. We will definitely try to stay here next time we come to town!
This apartment is great! It had everything we needed for our week long stay! The beds were super comfy, roomy kitchen for cooking, great location and bikes to use. We biked on the Poudre trail which was easy to get to. Walking distance to Old Town. It had a nice outdoor patio. We would definitely stay here again.
Great spot in Old Town
This was a perfect spot for two couples. Bike paths are close by and bikes were provided. Old Town is within easy walking distance along with many of the breweries.
The place was clean and comfortable. Thanks so much.
This unit has everything you need for a couple of nights or a couple of weeks. It was cool without AC in the middle of August.
This was a great property for me and my 9 year old son. Check-in was easy, communication with the owner was fast and helpful. The location cannot be beat—Walking distance to everything you need. We were very comfortable despite no A/C and day time temps in the 90s, as we followed the owner’s tip to open the windows and turn on the fans during the cool nights. We live in the hot humid south, so I found the cool evenings refreshing and pleasant. I highly recommend this property.
The apartment is great...the owners are very nice to work with. The only draw back is no air conditioning. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!
Located in the heart of Old Town and only blocks from the charming center of the historic downtown Fort Collins, we are close to unique shops, restaurants, brewpubs, museums and galleries. See great art and catch some local live theatre or music year round. Over 30 miles of off-street bike trails follow the beautiful Cache la Poudre River and Spring Creek and link to other trails that go throughout the city or into the nearby foothills to mountain-biking trails. Walk or bike to several local breweries for tours and tastes. We're only 45 miles to Rocky Mountain National Park and there are plenty of other scenic byways in the nearby foothills and canyons.
