About Kellie Brown
I was born and raised in Charleston and went to High school Downtown Charleston at Bishop England High School. I currently live in this house and have since 2000. My late husband and I built this house and have loved living here with the privacy it provides. This home is surrounded by natural areas with water access that offer beautiful views and lots of water activities.
Kellie Brown purchased this House in 2000
Why Kellie Brown chose North Charleston
This house is located in a great neighborhood in the back on a cull de sac. It offers water access off the private dock.
What makes this House unique
River access with kayaks off your own private dock.

Definitely not what I expected
As we arrived, we noticed the outside of the home and grounds heavily overgrown and shabby. The inside was clean; but we experienced many spiders and a roach type bug during the visit.
But of more concern is the misrepresented property. The first profile picture is that of the pier on the river. However, the pier is off limits and has been unavailable since the hurricane (reportedly in September 2017). The owner has not removed the pier images and continues to suggest the home can be used for water access off of a private dock.
I attempted to resolve the issue with the owner. However, the response was essentially “sorry for the inconvenience.” I sent a message to the owner through VRBO, but have not received a response.
It was a beautiful, very clean home. We were very comfortable there! We only had a few complaints. We wish the dock would have been open, or at least known it was closed before actually booking the house. The grass in the yard was very overgrown. The ice machine was slow to work and we found and a few dead bugs throughout the house. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
Best of both worlds!
Very nice comfortable home on a beautiful, peaceful property! After spending most days in downtown Charleston, we looked forward to relaxing at “home” especially on the back porch. It only takes about 20 min. to get to historic Charleston - an easy drive. Would recommend it to anyone!
Beautiful house. Just like home away from home.
Property was great with beautiful setting of river and marshland in back. Very clean. The central location was perfect for our time in Charleston and Summerville
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The owner had everything we needed there! Very beautiful and spacious! We were greatful to find such a great place so close to Charleston. Thanks Kellie, for opening your home to us!
