Very quaint and cozy cottage. It is in a quiet neighborhood and away from traffic noises. The grounds were very neat and well kept. I will definitely stay at this place again.
Served it's purpose
A room and a bathroom was essentially all I needed for a short stay out in Fredericksburg. Everything was nice and tidy when we arrived. WiFi would've been nice due to the poor quality of cell phone service in the whole area of town, but it was understood that it wasn't part of this lodging, so that's my own fault. I liked that it was in a quiet part of town, no people or vehicle traffic really at all. Slightly longer of a walk to the "meat" of Main Street than expected, but still very accessible.
Needed Wi-Fi access. Can't get a phone single in room because of all the metal on the outside of the house. It was a little disconcerting as a single female not having cell service in the room in the event of an emergency.
perfect for our stay
We absolutely loved the silver house! There are 2 things that gave this a 4 star instead of a 5 star. There was no iron/ironing board and there was a light right out back that was on the entire night...hard to sleep with it shining in! A motion light would be a way better solution. Other than that, the unit was nice and clean with a lot of privacy. We would stay there again, if we don't bring our RV.
Great location, cozy space, but a few things missing
The house is close to Main Street and very walkable. Suite was quite small with a few odd layout choices, but we spent most of our time in town or out in the Hill Country anyway, so it served its purpose well. Two major surprises were no wifi and no coffee (except instant), despite having a coffeemaker in the suite. Overall, it was a good value for the rate we paid - we had a lovely weekend and will likely stay here again.
