Perfect For my needs

  • 5 of 5

My son attends University of Hawaii main campus. He has a car. I greatly prefer staying out of Waikiki where all the tourism is concentrated. I want to enjoy life and not have all these temptations for my money. Nearby Safeway is great for food. Nearby lap swimming pool. Great Catholic Church for mass. Loved the cool temperatures and majestic mountains of the Manoa Valley. Loved the interesting architecture of the neighborhood. Will definitely try to stay here again in future trips. Love Megyn

Charming neighborhood and close to University of Hawaii at Manoa!

  • 5 of 5

The small apartment had everything I needed to be near and help my daughter move in to UHM. All amenities were provided! From coffee to essentials in the mini fridge, solid WiFi, great shower, thick towels, and all toiletries one could need in the island. The owner also have a clear binder with information about where to have a bite and within walking distance. The apartment is also independent of the main house. I wIll stay here again!

Property accurately represented and depicted.

We found everything just as expected and the owners were great with communication!

We were the in Oahu to visit family and we were just minutes from them. We were out day and night; we basically cleaned up and slept at the property. We loved the bathroom and parking was great!

This location was perfect for our needs.

Thank you Jeffrey & Marguerite :)

Blue House Bliss

  • 4 of 5

While visiting friends and family in Honolulu, this was the perfect place to stay away from the city and hectic Waikiki. Jeff and

Marguerite were very responsive to our every need and detail. The room was quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed knowing we would have a space to park our rental car no matter how late we returned. The ceiling and floor fans were helpful but the humidity was overwhelming. Air conditioning would be helpful! Manoa isn't usually that humid!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments, and so glad you enjoyed your stay. Manoa is generally very cool with lovely tradewinds, especially at night. "Kona weather," when the tradewinds stop, happens once or twice a year. Sorry you came during one. Thanks again

So Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

While we only stayed two nights at Jeff and Marguerite's home everything was perfect and exactly what we were expecting. Everything was clean and the newly remodeled bathroom was great, the property was clean and maintained. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The location is great; close to Waikiki and not too far from Pearl Harbor. Jeff and Marguerite were friendly and helpful in each exchange and I was pleasantly surprised that Jeff came to introduce himself our first night and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a small room but perfect for two people that aren't looking to cook or be in the room often. Jeff and Marguerite have done a very good job making it comfortable and providing a well stocked bathroom, small kitchen area and a helpful welcome binder. The binder had a recommendation for Andy's Sandwiches, which is just around the corner, and it was great! A very small place but surprisingly good! We had a great stay here before heading to Kauai for the remainder of our trip. Thank you so much!
