I cannot control a bee or a wasp or insect. My cabin is extremely clean and is updated and in a beautiful setting. Please do not ask me to refund your reservation because you do not understand country living. You would do better in a hotel environment. I will no longer refund a reservation with this as an excuse. Do not ask. Also, if you do not advise me you have a pet you will loose your $150 deposit. I will know. I can no longer allow large breeds due to inconsiderate guests.
I apologize for even having to write this. Sad that I had to.
This VRBO partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
Plenty of fishing. No license required. Bait in fridge. Fully
Stocked pantry and fridge. Beautiful area. Rest and relaxation is plentiful.
Very close to Tenessee and Alabama. Just off the interstate and easy access to many attractions.
We had a great time relaxing and fishing. We spent one day visiting Rock City, Ruby Falls and the Aquarium. Having access to the golf cart was a nice bonus. The accommodations were clean and exactly as described. We also enjoyed Cali the cat lounging on the front porch.
We celebrated a friends birthday on an unplanned trip here to Georgia for some hiking and horseback riding and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!! She was a perfect host and even made us a cake! The fridge and the pantry were completely stocked with food, we had fishing poles to fish, she provided my dog a bed and everything. You definitely get your money’s worth staying here! 10/10 will be coming. Also everything is so close and the little diner down the street has the best food! ☺️
Our family of 3 (+ pup) enjoyed our 3 night stay in Bass Cabin. The cabin is a bit rustic but really nice and cozy. The beds were comfy but I wish there had been a bit more water pressure in the shower. The kitchen was well stocked (perhaps too much so with unnecessary item and junk food). Missed having a nice table where we could eat together comfortably. Loved having the cabin cat around outside not to mention the other oudoor critters.
My family and I spent my birthday weekend at the Bass Cabin. We had a fantastic time. I've rented a lot of houses from VRBO and Cathy is definitely the best host. She made me a delicious cake for my birthday. We had a great time riding around the Perserve in the golf cart. Cathy even had bait in the fridge for us to use. The fishing was great. The cabin is very cozy. I can't say enough good things about Cathy and the cabin. If you are looking for a cabin in the mountain, this is the place to stay.
Our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 preteen) stayed at this cabin recently and it was really perfect. Having 2 bathrooms for us is a MUST and it was so nice that one of the bathrooms was attached to the master bedroom. The kitchen is a little small so more than 1 or 2 people and your bumping into one another, but it is fully stocked with anything you need to cook with which is really the most important thing! If the weather is nice there is tons of deck space to spread out into. We LOVED using the fire pit on the deck off the master bedroom for smores and she had starter logs and wood to keep it going.
We had to text with questions a few times and the owners were so helpful. They have the Dish satellite so we were able to watch the UGA smack down over Florida while there with no reception issues. She has dozens of movies which we watched some of those as well. This would be a great cabin if someone had someone who couldn't do hills or stairs, you walk in at ground level and with master on bottom floor it could be real easy access.
We loved it! Very quiet neighborhood.
When you stay at Bass Cabin you are treated as a pampered guest rather than a vacation home renter. Cathy provides you with a stocked pantry and enough food in the fridge for a breakfast and at least one meal. Who does that? This wonderful hostess does! You have the amenities of a luxury hotel with the linens and toiletries provided even to the bathrobes. The cabin itself is so warm and cozy with its porches for sitting and enjoying the scenery and a fire. Beds are very comfy and the bathrooms are beautifully updated. The fishing is great! The location is peaceful and a short drive to all the local sightseeing spots. It is a place to unwind, reboot and enjoy nature. We are already looking forward to our next trip there.
Nestled between Chattanooga, TN and Alabama many attractions to visit. Cloundland Canyon, Rock City, Ruby Falls, Racoon Caverns, Desoto Falls and many others.
