Why Cassie Bills chose Travis Heights
Convenient and centrally located, the Art Barn offers the best there is to offer with it's panache and modern conveniences. The Art Barn allows you to live like a local in one of the best neighborhoods in Austin. Historically, the Art Barn was originally a 3-horse carriage house for the 1890 victorian house on Park Lane. Today, the Art Barn is a perfect example of harmony between old and new; convenient urban living and private oasis.
What makes this Cottage unique
Every design element has been thoughtfully considered - from the floor to ceiling windows opening onto the private patio, luxurious bedding and linen, fully equipped kitchen and architectural outside elements. The living "Before I die...." art installation is an Austin landmark and forms one of the exterior walls of the Art Barn. The closeness to the neighborhood SoCo is a wonderful benefit.
Perfect place in perfect spot.
Girlfriend and I went for four days. This is near a lot of cool places and only about 10-15 minute Uber to downtown. Very comfortable and loved having the outdoor area. Bathroom walls don't go to the ceiling, which was strange at first but we worked it out. Clean, modern and rustic. Will be going back, soon hopefully.
Perfect Austin Location!
We absolutely loved our stay! The Art Barn is the perfect location if you want to be close to all of the South Congress restaurants and bars in Austin. Walk to everything. The furnishings were modern and the owner provided everything we needed. Off street parking too! We highly recommend this property and will rent again in the future!
Exactly what we wanted!
Right on the edge of the things we wanted to do, but secluded and private. Clean and very well equipped. Highly recommend and Will Definitely stay again. Thank you so much!
Super space to enjoy exploring South Congress! Provided for all our needs everything was extra comfortable. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Art Barn! Cassie was quick to respond and accommodate every request. It was nice to have the private outdoor space to enjoy as well! Highly recommended!
A great place to escape to!
A fantastic room in a fantastic location! Modern, comfortable, and just two blocks from some great food & nightlife. No need for a car once you get there - everything is within easy walking distance.
Better than the pictures.
Quiet but close to shops and restaurants of nearby commercial strip.
Popular South Congress Avenue is located two blocks away, with it's live music, artisans, restaurants, bars and great shopping. Easy to rent Car2Go and B-Cycles make downtown Austin and Zilker Park (the location of Austin City Limits festival) readily assessable. The University of Texas is located 3.5 miles to the north and St. Edward's is 1.8 miles to the south. Be in the center of it all!
