About Chuck and Dora Jacobson
We are a retired couple who over the years have migrated from the Chicago area and now reside in Florida for the winter and the mountains of North Carolina spring through the fall. We decided to share our mountain home with families interested in the North Carolina experience. Hopefully you will enjoy the mountains as much as we do.
Chuck and Dora Jacobson purchased this Cabin in 2007
Why Chuck and Dora Jacobson chose Maggie Valley
We fell in love with the beautiful area of Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Nature at its best to help relax and decompress from the busy pace of life. It's our slice of heaven :>
What makes this Cabin unique
We built this cabin/log home in 2007 to get away from the Florida heat. Everyone that visits falls in love with the area, the views and the slower pace of life. It's an experience too hard to put into words. You can be as busy as you want or just relax outside on the deck watching the hummingbirds feed as you watch the sun set over the mountains! Mornings are as spectacular while you sip your coffee.

Amazing home - warm & beautiful
Couldn't have asked for anything more!
The home and property was more lovely than we expected.
The Jacobson's mountain home experience was a delightful way to spend our last week of 2017. Our family enjoyed the furnishings , decor, warm and comfortable atmosphere and a breathtaking view.
Thanks for the great review. So glad you enjoyed the visit to our mountain home. We look forward to you returning soon.
My family really enjoyed staying here over Thanksgiving. The house is well maintained and the owners were easily reached for questions. Would definitely come back!
Thank you. Looking forward to your next visit.

Perfect Mountain Home
This cabin was the perfect place for my family to use as "home base" during our Spring Break NC mountain vacation. The cabin is beautiful, very well built and appointed, offering a warm and cozy atmosphere but quite spacious at the same time. The views of the Smokey Mountains are spectacular and especially enjoyable while relaxing in the hot tub after a busy day of exploring! The kitchen had everything we needed, including special bowls to make our mini labradoodle feel welcome! The location was ideal for us to explore the local area as well as Asheville, Cherokee, Nantahala, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. The owners of Villa Rosa were most pleasant to interact with and everything went very smoothly. My children (ages 10 and 12) are already asking to go again!
Great family vacation
The cabin was awesome! The drive up and down the mountain was slightly scary but it made the trip an adventure! Great accommodations, loved the heated floors in the bathroom!!
We are glad you enjoyed your visit to Villa Rosa. Thanks for the nice comments.
