Teacher and father of 4. Born and raised in the small town of Paris, I hope to give travelers a great place to stay while they discover our hidden gem!
We are located on the southern limit of the small town of Paris at the base of beautiful Mt. Magazine. With short mountain creek out your front door, Paris Lake only a few hundred yards up the road, and Mt. Magazine only minutes away, this is a great base camp for any outdoorsman.
The location also is also only minutes from downtown shopping, events, and quick access to anything you might have need of.
You couldn’t see the creek from over grown bushes. The grill was like a small grill you would find at the lake. They do provide charcoal & anything you want. There was no fire place.there were no air vents in the bedrooms so it’s cold in the winter & would be hot in the summer. The driveway needs repairing! The place was nice & clean. Had WiFi & enjoyed the tv.
Directions to the creek side were easy to follow. Having a code made it nice cause we didn't arrive til after dark.
The creek is overgrown. The cabins share a wall with each other. When someone from another cabin is taking a shower, you can hear from your cabin. The pro for this unit is that you are at the base of Mt. Magazine.
Clean and cozy was just what we needed after a long day of riding
My husband and I stayed here for a 3 day hiking trip and were very happy with our choice. It is updated and cozy. The owner is very nice and quick to respond. It has all the essentials so that we were able to eat almost all our meals at the house. I would recommend it to anyone. The only downside is no wifi but it's not a bad idea to unplug for a while!
We arrived late at night and Ty was there. Very friendly and helped us get situated....The cabin is very tidy and clean. Just what we needed. The sounds of the water was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the bench overlooking the creek and just relaxing. Overall, our stay was exactly what we were looking for, Thanks Ty for letting us stay and we will definitely stay again if we visit the area.
