About Diana Alvarado
Hi, I am Diana and I've been a resident of Venice for over 20 years. I grew up in Montebello, Ca. and always loved coming to Venice as a teen and now I'm very happy to call it home. I got my dergee in Interior Design and for many years had our own family business creating many beautiful and custom designs. I now am self emplyed and enjoy being part of a marketing and promotions company and love that I'm always meeting new people, creating new friendships and ready for whatever adventure life has for me.
Why Diana Alvarado chose Venice
Why, because its beautiful here. Weather is great, flowers are happy, birds love our trees and I enjoy being a part of this community.

Fantastic Place to Stay!
This was my first time doing something other than a traditional hotel and I was very nervous about it. It took more than 2 weeks for me to finally pull the trigger and book the place after going back and forth between this place and a hotel room. I am so glad that I took the chance and booked this awesome little bungalow, it was perfect for my stay. I have to have a clean place and this place couldn't have been cleaner. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the towels were soft and the location was awesome! It was spacious and had everything you needed to feel at home. The location was great and there was no problem parking on the street. It was so nice having a refrigerator to put leftovers in and keep the water cold-the kitchen was equipped with anything you could possibly need and did I mention everything was spotless!!!! Diana and her daughter were sweet and I will tell anyone I know going to LA to stay in this awesome place!
Peaceful, fun! Safe and the best time
Diana greeted us once we arrived. She was so friendly and made you feel at home. The place is so cute and comfy. My daughter and I walked and rode the bikes everywhere. We didn't use our car at all. We had an amazing time and definitely will come again. Thank you Diana!!
Diana was an fantastic host. I was traveling by myself with two boys and she was so understanding of some of our little issues that arose. Was easy to get a hold of. Place was great.
This place is the perfect spot to rest your head. Extremely clean and cozy! Close to the action but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Just a short walk to the beach and shopping! Transportation is easy to obtain whether it’s Uber, Lyft, or the Bird Scooters you can rent. Diana was a wonderful host. We would definitely recommend and want to stay again!
A cozy hideaway in Venice Beach area
This studio is tucked away off the street and had everything we needed. Diana greeted us with open arms (even offered us chicken soup!). We were here for a wedding which happened to be just down the block, so we were doubly blessed. I don't know if we'll ever return here (not big LA fans) but if we do, we would stay here again for sure.
If you're exploring the area, Diana's is about 1/1.5 miles from the action. we had fun walking all over the area, but it's also an easy Lyft drive if you're not much on walking (or you could use one of the public bikes or scooters if you like!). We especially enjoyed walking on the canals, great eats on Abbot-Kinney and of course, dipping our toes in the Pacific.
