About Andrew and Nikki Tait
The Smeaton family first came to Breckenridge over 20 years ago. We loved the historic gold mining town and all it had to offer in terms of both skiing and summer activities. Since then the skiing facilities have been both expanded and upgraded with 5 mountains offering terrain from beginner to challenging double blacks. It is a non-stop 3600ft vertical drop from the top of Imperial Express lift at 12840ft to our door. We bought this condo so we could holiday as a family at Four O'Clock Lodge and share with friends. Since then we have been coming back year after year, enjoying both the summer and winter attractions. Summer provides mountain and road biking, white water rafting, golf, hiking, a new zip line and fun park plus numerous music and cultural activities. Another plus is escaping the summer heat of the plains. Breckenridge rarely exceeds 80 degrees Fahrenheit and no air conditioning is needed. The family look forward to welcoming many visitors to Four O'Clock Lodge to share the remarkable location and activities available.
Andrew and Nikki Tait purchased this Condo in 1993
Why Andrew and Nikki Tait chose Peak 8
We really love the historic feel and small town friendliness of Breckenridge; its quaint main street and home town welcome. The location of Four O'Clock Lodge cannot be matched within Breck, being so close to SnowFlake lift, ski in via 4 O’Clock ski run and still an easy walk to Main Street, the Historic District and Riverwalk Center for the various festivals and casual or gourmet dining. Location, location, location!!

Great location and place
Perfect location for skiers. And it was a great walk into town not very far for those who don’t like to ski. Would stay here again loved it and everything was so easy.
Condo is in a great location and is well equipped
Very nice spot!
Great location and well-equipped kitchen! Could have used more kitchen linens....
Perfect Location, Condo accommodated us fine, but Housekeeping was not acceptable.
When we arrived the trash in the kitchen was full of trash from the previous occupant. The murphy bed had crumbs of food in the sheets (they had not been changed).
Location was perfect - close to lift, ski in, and town.
Great location and very nice condo, just like the pictures.
Everything was just as expected.
Great ski-in condo, walk to town
Myself and 3 buddies of the past 30 years flew in from different areas of the country and stayed here recently. We chose the location due to the proximity to both town and the lifts. A short walk up the hill to the lifts (200 paces, somebody wrote previously) and a short walk down the hill to town each night for dinner. Having 3 bathrooms each with their own shower on each of the 3 levels of the condo was a nice surprise, too. We were not lacking anything in the condo during our stay. Check-in and check-out was as easy as it gets. This was a first for me, being able to afford a ski-in condo during our ski trip - not dealing with parking or shuttle buses, carrying all your gear, etc, was a huge perk. We also ventured out from Breckenridge to Vail and Beaver Creek during our stay since it was only about an hour drive through beautiful country. Lots of possibilities from this location, including Keystone and A-Basin.
