Visiting family close by and this was perfect! Clean, close to grocery, Dicks and Starbucks! Great price! Thx
We were very pleased with our stay at this property. We have very high standards and sometimes get nervous not knowing what to expect, especially because one of the reviews said the pictures were deceiving. But we went for it anyway and were very glad we did! We did not think the pictures were deceiving… If anything, the apartment was nicer than we expected.
The apartment was very clean and well kept. We were traveling with our baby, so I bought Clorox wipes before arriving to wipe down surfaces before she touched everything, but we never used them because we felt that everything was very clean. It also appeared that the apartment had been recently renovated. There were granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom, beautiful tile in the shower and on the bathroom floor with spotless grout, as well clean faucets and fixtures.
This apartment is fairly adequate for traveling with children. We appreciated that the apartment was all one level, so we didn’t have to worry about baby proofing any stairs. We had to move a few things from low shelves and cabinets, but that wasn’t a problem. We asked about a highchair and crib, neither of which was provided, but at least we knew that in advance so we could plan for it. We were a little nervous about the stone bench in front of the fireplace, but we covered it with a blanket and that worked well.
We never met the owners during our 6-day stay, but they sent us an e-mail with the entry code for the front door and a very helpful welcome letter that told us everything we needed to know to have a wonderful stay. The letter included their cell phone numbers, but we never needed to contact them.
We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!
Thank you for staying with us and posting this review!
We enjoyed our stay
This was an o.k. place to stay for 3 of us. The location was nice and it had everything we needed. The pictures were a bit deceiving, not quite as nice as the pictures looked and the floors were extremely squeaky but overall it was clean.
The apartment was a nice added touch to our Family Vacation to Seattle. This was our first trip here and we enjoyed how it was close to parks, shops, restaurants where we could just walk and explore. This apartment was roomy enough for the four of us. We will definitely be back. We had a great time.
Great place to stay for our 4-days trip in Seattle
First of all, the location of this aprtament is very very convenient, 1min to the highway, 2mins to Univerisry of Washington, 5mins to Space Needle and the Woodland Zoo, 8mins to Seattle downtown and the piers, 10mins to Bellevue Shopping Center, 20mins to the airport. It a great place to stay if you purchase the CityPass, since all exhibits are within 10mins driving (the zoo is just next door)
Secondly, There are many places to eat and supermarkets in a walking distance, You don't even have to drive out for dinner unless you want to enjoy some fancy dinner.
Thirdly, The rooms in the apartment are pretty spacey, totally fit our party of 5. Kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room are fully loaded, you don't have to bring anything else beside yourself.
Finally, The owner/manager is very nice and quick response, he provides as much assistant as he can before and during our stay, making our trip like staying in a hotel.
I would recommend this apartment to my friends and I will stay here the next time I visit Seattle.
Pros: super close to a great walkable neighborhood, the layout and space were good, nice to have a kitchen to cut down on meals eaten out, easy and helpful directions from the owner, owner took care of a small water problem quickly and efficiently, the slow cooker came in handy
Cons: a little sparse compared to some other places I've stayed (it had pots and dishes but no salt and pepper), beds were utilitarian, and of course we happened to be there on one of the hottest days in Seattle and boiled but I believe very few places there have any sort of ac.
Overall thanks and I'd stay again.
