Sunny, renovated 2BR apartment, across the street from Pilsen's Harrison Park. The house is on a quiet block, just steps from the National Museum of Mexican Art. Enjoy Pilsen's art scene, vintage shops, bars and restaurants--we're happy to make recommendations. Easy trips to the United Center, Soldier Field, McCormick Place, and downtown, as well as UIC and the Medical District.
The inside of the house is newly renovated; we'll have clean towels and linens for you on your arrival. We'll also provide toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner. All of the dishes, appliances (including a washer/dryer), and coffee maker are yours to use. The TV has a Roku streaming device with Netflix, and you'll have access to the wireless internet.
Both bedrooms have queen beds and ample closet space.
In addition to the entire first floor apartment, you also have access to the back porch, and in nice weather, the back yard.
You'll have the entire first floor apartment to yourself, but we live on the 2nd floor. If there is anything you need, we'll be accessible, but we'll definitely respect your privacy during your stay.
This place is incredibly convenient! If you drive, we're close to I-55, 290, and 90/94, and there's plenty of free parking available. For public transportation, the CTA Pink Line, and the Damen and 18th Street buses are all within steps of the front door. In nice weather, there is also a nearby Divvy bike station. Free street parking is available on our block, and most times of the day there are plenty of open spaces. In the event that there is street cleaning or an event at the park, we also have temporary 24-hour permits inside the apartment for your use during your stay.
