First off, positives: Property was located in a great location, residential, close to beach. Its very convenient when traveling with pets, as there is a fenced in yard. Premises were clean and generally well-kept. Negatives: I was prepared for potential noise from upstairs neighbors based on past reviews, but you really cant appreciate how loud it is, zero insulation, sounds like a herd of elephants live upstairs. Wi-Fi did not work and was not fixed during our 6 night stay. Called management company multiple times to request resolution to problem, was informed the owner was on the way to fix,(never showed), then was informed ATT was coming next day to fix, (never showed), then management company was to call to give us updated status, (NEVER called, I finally gave up, and was forced to use data through my own provider at my own expense. Hairdryer and dvd player were listed on amenities list, neither were supplied. Hairdryer was dropped off by management, dvd player was not, was informed that request was put on list of things to do, (not done). A few amenities and pictures listed on Hidden Gem description are actually amenities and pictures of the rental apartment upstairs, pretty misleading. In summation, we do not ask for much, I just want what was promised upon rental of property, and if not, that any issues are addressed adequately by owner or management company. This rental was seriously lacking in both of these categories.
