Close proximity to Story Land and downtown N. Conway

We had an enjoyable stay at this home. It was my first time using home away and it was a little confusing in the beginning because I received a confirmation then an email stating it was not available so I needed to contact the owner for confirmation (rookie mistake I guess).

My wife, mother and I took my 2 boys on their 1st Story Land trip and the home is approximately 5 minutes away. We also traveled to Santas Village which is approx. an hour drive.

Overall, the house was clean and well equipped. The views are amazing. The open floor plan was good for watching the kiddos. There are some minor maintenance issues ie: loose door handles, screen door off track, iron board was broken, tub plug did not work and i would suggest a new non stick pan. The house has settled so some bedroom doors don't stay open and closet doors get stuck. As others have stated, the driveway is steep, but there is a 2 car garage. We were very comfortable at the home, and would recommend it to others.

Fantastic Stay

Upon our arrival to the locking of the door for the last time our stay was great. The home was just as promised. The space was more than enough for the 7 of us that stayed, one couple stayed only for the weekend the other 5 persons stayed the additional time, unfortunately we had to cut our trip by one day due to riding home weather (on motorcycles), although we hit bad weather just the same. This home is close to everything you need and all there is to do. Beds are comfortable, bedrooms are roomy. There was a game table in the basement but never used it, we always stayed on the deck as we relaxed, although the home could have had a outdoor fire pit for added summer fun it was ok that it didn't. We tried to use the TV in the mastersuite but for some reason it didn't work at all after a few days of frustration we gave up. The thermostat was also a bust during the over night hours, the temp would go up to around 80 or higher and had to reset again that took over 2 hours for the rooms to cool down, with NO screens on the windows it was hard to get fresh air for evening hours, it would have been ideal with the coolness of the mountain air. The garage was a added security for us as we had 6 motorcycles to keep safe plenty of room to even turn while in the garage rather than try to push the bikes out backwards the driveway is rather steep for that. It could use more pans to cook with it was a challenge to make breakfast with only 2 fry pans for homemade home fries and eggs for 7 and bacon and no spatula to flip eggs so scrambled it was lol, other than a few details the home was perfect and will be wanting to stay again.

Thank You Anna for a spectacular VIEW every morning and evening of White Horse and Cathedral Ledges.

Nice View But Driveway Very Steep

When we arrived at the property, we still had not received information concerning access code. We tried contacting the owner but it took some time for her to respond. After a few hours we finally were able to gain access into the house.

The driveway is very steep. Parking in the drive or garage would be quite difficult in the winter in snowy conditions. Luckily, it was summer, but we had Kayaks, so we were not able to use the garage or driveway for parking.

When we entered the house the inside temperature was well over 84 degrees and it took some time to figure out the thermostat controls throughout the house since there were no definitive instructions left out for operation.

Be aware that there is no water hook up to the automatic Ice Maker in the refrigerator.

Bring your own ice trays.

The house had some maintenance issues when we arrived: Toilet paper holder falling off wall, (which I fixed) Some of the doors stick and door knobs were loose.

Owner's Response: This is the first time we receive such negative review and I would like to respond to some of the key complains raised. First of all, I want to apologize for a miscommunication on the access code availability ahead of arrival. I thought I had provided such info but apparently I didn't and for that I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. Regarding the rest of the complains, however, I want to make the following comments: The driveway is somewhat steep but the house is located on the mountain side and thus the beautiful views, but after renting the house for over 10 years, I don't recall any other customer raising the issue of not being able to drive or park in the driveway or the garage, especially in Summer time. Arriving to the house in the middle of July on a hot day, you would expect a hot interior, especially since the thermostat was on an energy saving mode, but the house has central air conditioning and there are thermostats on all the main floors for an easy access to adjust the temperature quickly. Finally complaining about little things and never making any positive comments about the comforts of the house I think is not fair. For the record the Hyatt family never called to raise any of these complains while staying there. We take pride in preparing the house and to make sure our visitors enjoy their stay. I hope other reviews on our site will give another perspective on what this house offers. I wish the Hyatt family a more pleasant experience when they visit NH in the future again. Beautiful home, beautiful mountain views

We had a wonderful time and the house and views were tremendous. The house is nearly new, very clean, the double car garage was a nice addition, everything was modern, well equipped, the living areas were comfy with big flat screens. We loved the cozy fireplace. The bathrooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. We used the BBQ almost every day on the deck overlooking the majestic mountains. The view really can't be beat, especially with the fall foliage. Its also very a very private and quiet neighborhood.

We came to see the fall foliage and Anna's house didn't disappoint.

Superb Summer Getaway

Beautiful home in a great location regardless of the season. Close to all the attractions, dining and shops. Home has scenic view, plenty of space inside and out. Two car garage with additional parking. A true home away from home.

Amazing view and a homy property

We stayed at Anna's property for three nights, and our group had 5 adults and 2 two year olds.

We all loved the home. The view is spetecular - every morning you wake up and embrace the mountainview right through the windows. The neighborhood is very quiet, the only thing you can hear is the sounds of nature. It is also very closed to most of the attractions.

The owners are prompted too. I had a thermometer issue the first night at about 9:30, Anna answered my call and helped me out. It was a great vacation and we hope to come back some time later this year.
