About Justin, Val and Amelia
We are a 5th generation west coast family that have come to enjoy all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Our pastimes include sailing, water skiing, scuba, golf, mountain biking, downhill and cross country skiing, hiking, snow shoeing and painting (I think I got them all). Our daughter (Amelia) recently graduated from Emily Carr University and manages Seaward Cabin for us while she practices her art. Val is an artist and teacher and I'm a banker, but we hope to retire to Roberts Creek eventually. Until then we are pleased to share our bit of paradise with you.
Justin, Val and Amelia purchased this Bungalow in 2016
Why Justin, Val and Amelia chose Roberts Creek
Our family has spent summers in Robert Creek since the early 1900's, but our ancestors sold the family cabin a couple of generations back. Seaward Cabin is only a few doors down from our original cabin (Sunnyside) and we grabbed it when it came available in late 2015. We feel like we've been lucky enough to come home again and love Seaward Cabin and enjoy sharing the Robert's Creek experience.
Lovely, relaxing spot
Our recent stay at this sweet cottage home was highly enjoyable, smooth and comfortable. Owner, Justin, was very pleasant, accommodating and kind. Views out to the ocean are wonderful. It is a very quiet location yet centrally located in the Robert Creek area. Dog friendly too! Love the deck at the ocean's edge.
Beautiful, relaxing stay on the coast
Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach and surrounding area. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Exactly what we were hoping for. Easy accessible clean accommodations right on the water. Perfect for sipping wine and watching the kids play.
Great house. View was amazing and right on the water. Slept our entire party comfortably and location was A+! Looking forward to staying again.
The cottage was perfect for our needs. It was well equipped and fantastic setting.
A lovely home in a beautiful location
We spent about 10 days at Sunnyside cabin and were refreshed by the beauty and tranquility of the home which has spectacular views. The house is clean and light and well equipped and had everything we needed. I can't say enough about the amazing sea views from the decks, kitchen and living room. We were fortunate enough to see seals, otters, sea lions and dolphins and watched the eagles and herons feeding on the beach. Amazing!
We hope to return very soon
Thank you, Michele
It is so nice to hear other enjoy our sanctuary as much as we do. Hopefully, we can have you back again soon.

The Beach House is close enough to walk to the "Heart of the Creek" with its charming corner store, the cafe, the restaurant and shops. The Roberts Creek pier is close by. Roberts Creek is right between Sechelt and Gibsons so from here you are within 10 minutes of so many things to do and all the services you ever need. All year round there's great places to visit and things to do - if you can tear yourself away from the Beach House:
Dakota Ridge ski area is close by with sledding, snowshoeing or cross country skiing. If you are into mountain biking we have a huge number of various levels of biking trails and Sprockids Mountain Bike Park plus our famous Gravity Mountain Bike Park (voted "Best Bike Park in Canada" by Redbull) for advanced bikers. Gorgeous hiking trails start right in the Creek and there's many more: Smuggler's Cove Marine Park, Cliff Gilker's waterfall, Langdale falls... on and on. Hike out and watch the surfers at Skookumchuk Narrows up the Coast. Take a yoga class - sometimes even on the beach, and several spots for kayak and paddle board rentals. Skim board right on the Roberts Creek beach and up in Davis bay. Walk the Davis Bay waterfront and fish from the pier. For kids the Sunshine Coast has a great indoor pool/waterslide complex in Sechelt 10 minutes up the road, Party Ponies and Farm Ventures pony rides & petting zoo right in the Creek.
