About Tony Jackson
Sarah (my wife) and I are in our late 50s. We have recently retired from the corporate world and moved to Vancouver Island in 2015. We have recently passed the the CELTA programme in Chiang Mai to teach English as a second language. Our goal is to travel through working on volunteer/charity projects using the teaching qualification wherever we can. What couldn't I live without; music, the opportunity to travel, the opportunity to try new experiences and friends and family. I have two mottos and I thank the dance band Faithless for both: 1. You don't need eyes to see, you need vision. (Salva Mea) 2. How can I change the world if I can't even change myself? (Reverence)

Why Tony Jackson chose Mill Bay
Location, location, location and the potential to convert a large workshop into the 2 bedroom apartment.
What makes this Apartment unique
The location and views are spectacular. Vancouver Island is also mid point (almost) for our travels to Europe and Asia.

Weather was a little off but the the place, the views and the hosts Sarah and Tony were excellent.
Yet again we enjoyed a lovely quiet stay with such a lovely view!
We also really appreciated all the extra thoughtful touches.
Many thanks for the positive feedback. It was great to have you here for a second visit. We look to make our guests stay a unique experience and the location and views certainly give us ahead start.
Thanks for leaving the suite so clean and tidy - it is much appreciated.
Happy New year to you all.
Tony & Sarah
One of the best places we've rented.
This apt is beautifully perched on a hill with nice private outdoor amenities. You can even watch the sunrise from the comfortable bed.
All was very clean and so very well equipped! There is plenty of living space and although we were only 2, I'm sure 4 would be very comfortable.
The owners were easily accessible and provided great advice about this wonderful area on the island.
We had a fantastic experience staying at Tony and Sarah's vacation rental. Everything we needed was available, Tony and Sarah were welcoming, friendly and ready to go above and beyond if need be.
The location was beautiful, quiet and perfectly located. We would definitely stay again!!
Hi Ashley, Christian and Oliver,
It was great to have you all here and to see you enjoy the suite and Oliver's fascination with the water feature. Thanks for your positive feedback, we're glad you enjoyed the suite and the location. It's difficult not to chill out here.
Also a big thanks for leaving the suite so clean and tidy; wouldn't have known you had stayed here for 9 days.
Good luck with all your business ventures - it's amazing what you've created.
Love to have you back here anytime.
Tony & Sarah.
Very clean and comfortable. Incredible views. Gracious hosts.
The birdlife is a bonus.
You won't better this!
We flew into Vancouver from London, picked up our pre-booked car hire and drove to Tsawwassen harbour to board a ferry to Swartz Bay, Vancouver Island. Due to the busy holiday season, meant we had to wait longer for a ferry crossing, resulting in missing the last ferry from Brentwood Bay to Mill Bay. We thought the drive round instead would take much longer, but it was an easy hour long drive, and we actually thought well worth it. The view as you climbed up through the Malahat, looking down across Saanich Inlet was only the stunning beginning to a massive warm welcome bestowed upon us by both Tony and Sarah. An easy to find location with parking and easy access, and you just wish you could stay here for the whole of your holiday duration. You simply gasp as you are led past the view out across the bay, before you even set foot inside the ground floor apartment. Perched at the top of a hill overlooking a simply breath taking east facing aspect, you will stay underneath Tony and Sarah's house. It is completely private, beautifully appointed and luxuriously equipped with nothing omitted. A double and twin bedroom await you, with fully fitted kitchen and all utensils far better than left behind at home, along with laundry and bathroom necessities, as well as dining table and sofa, chairs, TV, etc. The patio offers outside seating with BBQ and bird feeders offer the avid bird fan close up views of humming birds, Californian Quail, local and even bird of prey. You are provided with a generous welcome basket of edible goodies, plus coffee, tea, butter, milk and even wine! A visit to the local shopping centre two minutes drive away offers everything you could possibly want, and more, with the most fabulous supermarket. There is plenty to see and do here if you only have time to explore the southern tip of Vancouver Island, or it is quite simply the perfect introduction to the island if this is your first visit. Just don't miss this out if you start or finish your Vancouver Island adventure in Victoria. We witnessed spectacular sunrises, unwound from the long haul flight and all the work stresses left behind and sadly left Mill Bay, planning our return. Take our advice and stay here. You cannot possibly regret it. Quite simply the most stunning location, overlooking Salt Spring Island's Mount Sullivan, Satellite Channel and North Saanich. You have to see it to believe it.
Thanks for the exceptional feedback. We are so pleased you, Tom and Ellie enjoyed your stay. It is great that we kicked off your vacation in such a positive way and hope you enjoyed your tour of the Island that followed.
Also thanks for the way you left the apartment - not sure if you had stayed at all it was so tidy and clean.
Love to have you back. Now you know what you are missing.
Tony & Sarah.
