About Paula Kramer or Marty Zabel
We are a married couple who fell in love with Costa Rica some 25 years ago. We built this home with great love and care and have enjoyed the spectacular views , the beautiful crafts work of our home and the wonderful cool breezes. This home is a total pleasure - always breezy and always providing beauty. We return to the States for several months each year (missing our kids and grandkids) so we search for an individual or couple who can make our home theirs while we are away.
Paula Kramer or Marty Zabel purchased this House in 2013

Casa Bella is located 1 mile above the resort town of Uvita on the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. One of the most biodiverse areas in the world there are endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation.
Only 5 minutes to town central, shopping, local beaches and restaurants this home is perfectly located for anyone who does want a private and tranquil home - and yet accessible to anything one might want/need.
UVITA is located about 40 minutes south of Manuel Antonio National Park and the same distance heading south to the Osa Peninsula. From this location it is easy to plan day trips to these locations as well as Corcovado National Park, Cano Island and the many daily activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, waterfall repello, mountain biking, Quad trips - and almost endless list of amazing things to do.
Included is relaxing at any one of the many local beaches - each with their own particular character and charm. There are several palm tree lined beaches minutes drive from Uvita. A few beaches very close are perfect for surfing and others are more tranquil waters for relaxing swimming.
The mixture of Ticos and estrangers makes this town also unique. We are a friendly community and there is always someone to enjoy or someone to lend a helping hand if that is needed.
It is stunningly beautiful in this area where the mountains come closest to the Ocean (one of two such places in the world!) The lush mountains rise up from the coast and one can see hundreds of miles across the Pacific Ocean.
Wildlife here is abundant and gentle - monkeys, many varieties of tropical birds, iguanas - and a long list of others.
In this rainforest area everything grows rapidly so there are hundreds of varieties of trees and flowers.
It is not an overstatement to call this a Paradise.
In Casa Bella there are beautiful mountain and ocean views from every screen window. The breezes
from the 3 rivers converging below make it possible to enjoy living without air conditioning..
Lie back on your lounge chair on the veranda and enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the mist rise from the mountains, listen to the monkeys awaken, and gaze out at the Pacific Ocean. Or star gaze in the evening as the sky puts on it's nightly light show!
If you enjoy tranquility and beauty with the option to participate adventurous activities you will love being here!
