The room itself was what I expected. It was small, but met our needs.
When we arrived, the room was dirty. There was a mold over everything including the futon where my daughter would be sleeping and the headboard of the bed. We called the management company and they sent the housekeeper out immediately. She cleaned up the majority the mold and left us a can of febreeze for the smell. She didn’t however, clean the backs and sides of the furniture so there was still a lot of mold present. I asked her for clean bedding but she said that it wouldn’t be on the bedding and we didn’t need it. Luckily, we had brought blankets with us so we were able to use those instead of the ones that I’m sure were covered with mold. We tried to make the best of it and spent as little time in the room as possible. The manager did refund part of my money for our trouble, but I will not stay here again.
We are disappointed to read this review after meeting all of your requests about the matter. The unit was indeed in need of some touch up when you arrived (an issue that has been addressed with all of our cleaning crews to ensure units that have sat dormant are re-checked prior to a reservation) due to the room sitting empty for a few weeks. The humidity built up a bit and left some mildew (not mold - which you knew was the case when you called us about the issue) buildup on some of the varnished (smooth) surfaces. The cleaner went back out and re-cleaned the entire room of all surfaces but did not replace the linens both because it was not requested at the time of the call (so she did not have any with her) and because mildew does not build up on fabric surfaces. The amount of buildup was actually minimal and the cleaner went beyond by cleaning just about every surface again - even those that were not affected. The unit was cleaned to your liking before she left outside of the linens, yet you claim later it was not. You spoke with the manager and told him at the time you were pleased with the resolution at the unit and were given a substantial discount on the unit as well as a refund of your cleaning fee to compensate you as well. You indicated at the time that everything was settled and that you were pleased and it is disheartening for you to say otherwise now when more could have been done during your stay.

New towels should’ve been washed once to prevent fuzzies getting everywhere. A broom in the room would help with the daily sand. Kitchen chair seats were held on by 1 screw but we secured them with the screws that were made for the chairs which were left in the kitchen. The price was good but another room was listed for less, it was just already booked. We reported to the “Association” that most parking places were being used by cars with no passes but nothing was done, so we had to park across the street out back every day. The hallway doors slam loudly and can be heard often.(This was reported also, but to no avail.) These negatives by no means outweighed the many positives of cleanliness, convenience, safety and efficient price, but needed to be noted. Overall, GREAT place to stay and would happily stay again.
We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay in spite of the issues you mentioned. We have passed the feedback about a broom along to the owner for future additions and updates. We apologize for the issue with the kitchen chair, and would have gladly had maintenance handle that for you if we had been made aware of the issue. We contacted the association about the parking and it seems that you stayed during the transition period from one type of parking pass to another and as such there were many guests that did not have a pass. The parking underneath the building is limited and there is not enough for all units, that is why they have the other lot behind the building. It is first come first serve under the building and overflow goes to the lot out back. The association is looking into ways to quiet the doors. We hope to see you back again soon to take advantage of the great location this building has to offer.

Won't be back
Condo waa fine, not great but fine. Was advertised as being "right across from the hangout, pink pony and most importantly the public beach...and it is. No one mentioned that the beach would be closed for set up for hangout fest, and that walking anywhere was not an option because the rent a cops would harass us and tell us the sidewalks were closed to pedestrian traffic for our "safety"...the sidewalks were lined with porta pottys and I am not aware of any incidents involving porta pottys that suddenly fell on people. High lift ran up and down outside the window until at least 3am. When I called to complain about the parking lot (in which I paid to park) being full of non tagged vehicles)...expecting something to be done...I was told, well hopefully you can find somewhere else to park...I'm sure it's just set up for hangout fest.
On top of everything else the AC made terrible noises.
Go to Orange Beach instead.
We are disheartened to hear our stay was less than perfect. Unfortunately, The rules that the Gulf Shores Police Department make are not up to us here at Poole and Associates, and there is not much we can do, however we do apologize for the discourteous way you were treated. With the events of hangout fest, there are things which Poole and Associates are not notified of. We sincerely apologize about your parking issue. Unfortunately if a guest is not staying with us, all we can do is make the association aware and hope they do something about it. We would love to have you back again for a more pleasant stay, so we can show you how we do things properly.
I loved the location of Beachview, everything is walkable and in the heart of G.S. The room looked like the photos and was clean. The bed linens needed to be replaced and the microwave did not work. The management company provided me with a table top microwave 5 days after I notified them it was not functional.
Thank you for your honest review of Beach view 322! We would like to sincerely apologize for the delay of a microwave. Things of this nature must be approved by the owner. We would have been more than happy to take a look at the new microwave, or replace it, had the issue been brought to our attention. We would love to hopefully have you back again for another stay, of which we would love to make perfect.
Great location could have been cleaner and needs cooking amenities
The location was fabulous and the price was good. The shower was great. The room was a little dirty and we didn't have access to a broom to clean the sand from the floors. Overall great place and love the parking.

Most units do have brooms in them, unfortunately sometimes hings turn up missing that we are unaware of. We would have been more than happy to provide you with a broom for the sand.
