About the property

My traditional tenement flat is located in Cessnock, which is south west of Glasgow city centre. There is free on street parking and excellent transport links taking you into the city centre in 10 mins and the west end in 12.

Nearest underground station is Cessnock, a 5 minute walk, and nearest bus stop is 3 mins away.

SECC and SSE Hydro are 10 minutes drive (also within walking distance).

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital is 8 minutes drive.

Glasgow Science Centre is 18 mins walk.

Two lovely parks - Bellahouston (Charles Rennie McIntosh's House for an Art Lover ) and Pollok Country Park (Burrell Collection) are also within walking distance.

The flat is located on the ground floor of a traditional building. There are two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, everything you need to do home cooking and a washer/dryer. There is a large living/dining room with a dining table for four people. Bathroom has a bath and wall mounted shower.

The building and street are pretty quiet and residential.

Really lovely

Close to the underground, takeaways and a coop, and it’s very easy to walk back from town too. It’s a really nice and comfortable flat and we had a really lovely stay.

Very comfortable, great amenities, close to city center, a couple of small supermarkets nearby.

I stayed at the property as it was near to my daughter and her husband who live in Glasgow.

As their apartment is very small they came and had dinner with me in the evening which was wonderful.

While my daughter and her husband were at work I walked to many of Glasgow's interesting tourist attractions. Apartment is in an excellent location, close to tube or walking distance to center of town.

Agréable et pratique

Appartement très calme et agréable, grand, bien équipé, jolie déco, bonne literie. Le quartier est d'un standing ordinaire, mais correct. Tout près du métro, bien pratique. Pas de resto qui sert de la nourriture équilibrée aux alentours, il faut rester dans le centre ou explorer plus loin. Un petit supermarché Coop.
