This very private all brick Ranch House is beautifully landscaped with native desert trees, plants, cactus, fountains, 2 pergolas, outdoor fireplace, BBQ and more. Relax outdoors under our pergolas outfitted with misting systems and watch the native wild birds at our many bird feeders. We have seen humming birds, robins, finches, woodpeckers, cactus wren, hawks, monarch butterflies (we planted lots of fresh milkweed this year to help the little guys), lizards, and other wildlife here. We have fruit trees such as pomegranate, nectarine, tangelo, and orange. Feel free to pick and eat any of the fruit while you are here (It is especially delicious toward the end of fall and beginning of winter. Adding to the privacy of the courtyard you will see a large variety of vines covering the redwood fence with colorful flowers from the cats claw, carolina, jasmine, honey suckle, and many varieties of bougainvillea. You can also feel good about reducing your carbon footprint with a stay at Old Pueble Ranch. We recently installed solar heater, solar water heater, and solar electrical systems. At Old Pueblo Ranch we want you to relax and feel at home so the house is well furnished with one king bed, one queen bed, two bunk beds, sofas, office desk, dining room table, dressers and more. About Diana Koether
My Husband and I have traveled around the world and stayed with a lot of great hosts. We have been to a few countries in every continent with the exception of Australia, and Antarctica. We are also very adventurous and outgoing people who love meeting other people. We have enjoyed flying (small planes and hang gliders), climbing, sailing, skiing, and caving. Now that we bought a house in a place we love (Tucson, AZ), we are excited to be the great hosts and share with others share with other why we love this are.
Diana Koether purchased this House in 2015
Why Diana Koether chose Peter Howell
When we bought the house we wanted to be close to all the major attractions the city has to offer. The Zoo, parks, golf, botanical gardens, downtown, and the University of Arizona. We love the Sonoran desert and the culture and wild life of the area. We have done our best to represent some of the best the area has to offer when we landscaped and decorated the Ranch House.
What makes this House unique
We created a private oasis in the middle of the city. The whole beautiful landscaped courtyard is surrounded by a redwood fence with fountains, pergolas, and native birds and butterflies all around. It is unique to be able to enjoy such a beautiful place in the middle of a city.

I just want to take the time out to thank you for letting us stay in your home while visiting for our family reunion.. It was the perfect size for our family and the kids loved all the run space.. It was also conveniently located in between everything/everywhere we needed to be and secluded with privacy. We will def book again if we head that way again.
It was perfect location. Quiet
It was perfect.
Wonderful hosts and a great place to stay!
Thank you, Diana, for a wonderful stay. We loved your house. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and it was perfectly located to get to all the places we were visiting. You were so responsive to any of our concerns or needs. I recommend this house enthusiastically.
Great location, comfortable stay!
We just spent a month in this home. It's a paradise for a dog, and our newly-adopted dog really loved running around in the huge enclosed yard! The home had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well-stocked and functional. The bathrooms are small, but functional. There is a nice dressing area/closet with shelves by the bathroom, with plenty of space for clothes, as well as a large dresser in the MBR. The owners were very responsive to our questions/needs, and easily accessible, and had little presence there, which was nice. It was clean on our arrival, and well stocked with linens and towels. I will say is that it's an older home, and could use a coat of paint and some artwork on the walls; the wifi was good, but the one TV in the living room is difficult to turn on, and is slightly out of synch (the words with the lip movements!) But we loved our time there, and it's a good value. The convenience of the location was a real treat; close access to everything!
Easy to like!
It was as advertised: perfect for groups and dogs! The yard is gravel, but large enough for our. Hound to run and run! Nice location. Close to awesome restaurants. Easy. Access to attractions, the university and. Downtown. Diana is a very responsive hostess!
A TRUE BLESSING
What a blessing for our friends and family. We held a wedding in Tucson and all sides of the family was out of town. The house has a great floor plan and lots of space. We held the rehearsal dinner there and did not feel cramped at all and had all the amenities we needed. Great location with easy access to all we needed to do in Tucson. Diana was great to work with for all our needs. I would highly recommend staying here on your visit to Tucson.
The house is located in the Peter Howell neighborhood which was formed in 1951 and covers a one half square mile area north and south of the Peter Howell Elementary School in midtown Tucson, Arizona. It is a lovely neighborhood with a lot of well landscaped yards. There is a small park that is right around the corner from the house and it has swings, basketball court, and a small playground. A great place for the kids! We are only a few blocks away from the largest park in Tucson (Reid Park), Reid Park Zoo, public swimming pools, the driving range and golf course, as well a just a few minutes from downtown, and of course the University of Arizona. There is a public bus stop right outside of our fenced in yard, so it is easy to get around if you do not bring a car. If you have a chance take a walk around the Peter Howell neighborhood that we are part of and enjoy all the beautiful homes. (It is a very lovely neighborhood).
