About Bryan and Kim Esworthy
We are K and E Cabin Rentals, LLC. We are made up of two couples and our nephew. We bought this cabin together to share our love of nature with our guests and to use as a family vacation spot.
Bryan and Kim Esworthy purchased this Cabin in 2007
Why Bryan and Kim Esworthy chose Blossburg
We bought the land in 2007 and had the cabin shell built. Then we finished the inside of the cabin ourselves. After alot of hard work, we then had the fun of decorating the cabin in bear decorations. In May 2009 we opened for our first guests. We enjoy talking with our guests as we take their reservations, share our experiences from the mountain and love to get pictures and read what our guests share in our Guestbook. We named the cabin Bear Tracks Cabin because when we bought the land, we saw bear tracks on the property. Many guests have seen the bears pass through and in July 2013 we were visited by a bear while at the cabin. Our website has pictures of our bear visits. We all love nature and wildlife and enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains, the beauty of the PA Grand Canyon, and fishing on the lakes. We have had alot of family and friend vacations at the cabin, and our guests comment how they love just getting away from everything and spending good quality family time. Alot of memories have been made at Bear Tracks Cabin.
What makes this Cabin unique
We chose this mountain area because it is very peaceful. Every cabin on the mountain has at least 3-5 acres so when you are at the cabin it is very secluded. We are close enough to drive to the PA Grand Canyon and other activities and restaurants, and then can come back to the peacefulness of the mountain.

Dark skies for star gazing was our goal. This cabin fit the bill and was neat and back to nature!
The cabin was well stock and had everything you needed for cooking either inside or outside. The specialty skewers that protracted for roasting marshmallows were very cool! Beds were comfortable and felt like home. Wrap around porch was nice.
We come up to this area every June during the New Moon phase to go stargazing to see the Milky Way (positioned over our hemisphere during this time of year) at Cherry Springs State Park. It’s akways a plus to find a cabin that is in such a remote area that you can sit on the porch and view it there just as well.
The living room was comfy and kitchen was nicely organized. We especially enjoyed sitting around the campfire telling stories and roasting marshmallows.
Thank you for the review. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin and the secluded area. Glad you had clear nights to see all the stars.

Wonderful bear-themed cabin
We had a wonderful time at the bear tracks cabin. The cabin is very cozy and clean and in a secluded area surrounded by nature. Nice hikes at the "Grand Canyon" nearby, and beautiful night time skies. We even saw a black bear close to the cabin!
