lovely spacious cottage
Property was easy to find with directions given by owners. Lovely welcome with fresh flowers , bread and homemade cakes. Cottage clean with everything we needed supplied. Lovely front room with views to the garden. Comfy beds. Weather wasnt brilliant for our stay but we still got around and enjoyed the surrounding counrtyside and beaches and the sun did get out for our last day.
Relaxing stay in super location
We greatly enjoyed walks to the beach nearby and lying in bed watching the birds in the garden.
The location was good for short drives to Harlech and Barmouth estuary. The hosts were very welcoming and the cottage was clean with everything we needed.
We stayed here for two nights during the recent Barmouth weekend celebrations. Susan and Richard did their upmost to ensure a comfortable stay, even leaving fresh baked bread and cookies for our arrival!
The accommodation is very comfortable, the huge king size bed a real treat after a day on our feet. We had the best nights sleep ever! Good wifi for arranging our timetable whilst in the area was a huge plus.
Susan advised us that our Sunday check out time was flexible, this was very helpful as we'd been our most of Saturday night enjoying the fireworks in Barmouth and a relaxed Sunday morning was very welcome. Thoroughly recommend staying here, owners that go that little bit further for their guests.
A great property with everything you need for a delightful vacation.
Richard and Susan are super hosts. Susan baked us cookies and provided us a loaf of bread on our arrival. The unit has everything you need for up to 4 people. Nice location and very quiet as well. Highly recommended for couples or families looking for a great vacation place.
Y Bwthyn is a lovely delightful place to stay.
The cottage had everything we needed for our family. It was warm, welcoming, clean and very comfortable. The owners made us feel very welcome. Y Bwthyn is close to the beach which is great for making sandcastles!
A great family holiday cottage which I would recommend to friends.

We have just spent a fabulous week at the cottage with our two children aged 13 and 10. The cottage is spacious with a west facing dining area, lovely for the evening sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed a complimentary chocolate cake and home made loaf of bread. The property is ideally located for the beach (10 minute stroll), with great sand dunes for many games of man hunt. We also took advantage of the local walks giving spectacular beach views and visited the local shop for a few forgotten provisions. There is a small outdoor area with a table a chairs for outside dining.
