Guest's comments: 'Really appreciated the great location! Excellent, comfortable base for our visit to London, we will certainly return, thank you!' Mr and Mrs Stratos - USA 'Loved the decor in the apartment and what a FANTASTIC location!' Mr and Mrs Pick, Caldecotte

'The flat was perfect for our few days in London - well located with just a few minutes walk to South Ken tube and Kings Road. The design of the flat was compact but had everything you could need - good cupboard space, very comfortable bed, an excellent shower and a kitchen with a decent sized fridge, microwave and washing machine. We'll be back next year! ' Joanna MacLean - Chang Mai

Great location

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was in a great location. Close to the V&A and so many museums. It also had great transport links. South Kensington or Sloane Avenue tube stations and great bus connections down on King's Road. Also very easy to walk around and explore the area. I always felt very safe.

The apartment is small but as I was travelling on my own this did not worry me. The kitchen was fine. Close to a Sainsbury's and Waitrose. Appreciated that there was some kitchen essentials in the cupboards ( salt pepper, cooking oil) which can be a pain to buy when travelling. Washing powder also provided for washing machine.

I was there in London's heat wave. A fan would have been useful but as it is rarely 30 degrees in London I can understand why a fan was not in the apartment. I kept one of the windows open at night!!!

Overall a great apartment in an excellent location. I would stay again

Great Location

  • 3 of 5

Jackie was absolutely wonderful to work with. Very responsive to questions/concerns. She provided excellent instructions for getting to the apt from the airport.

I read the reviews and understood this was going to be a small studio. I had concerns as to whether it would be too cramped for us as we were spending 9 nights there but the reviews were good and the price excellent for the area so we decided to give it a go. I knew it was a murphy bed set up but I thought there would be enough room to walk around the bed should you need to get up in the middle of the night. You really can't. If you want to get to the kitchen or bathroom you have to crawl over anyone sharing the bed. That was really the only downside for us. If you are considering this you should be aware and decide if that's a problem for you. Obviously, it's not for many given all the glowing reviews. We, like most tourist, spent most of our time out sightseeing so while it wasn't a huge problem, we probably would prefer a little more space to relax in after a full day of sightseeing. Again, the price was right and the location is great. It's doable for a couple, although maybe not perfect, but for one person it would be excellent. The kitchen and bathroom were actually a good size given the overall size of the apt.

The location is great! Walkable to many attractions and a tube station just a short walk away. We had a great time!

Chelsea Cloisters - another great experience,

  • 5 of 5

Considering the unsettled weather at this time of year (Feb. 27 - Mar. 6), we enjoyed our short visit to London, with Chelsea Cloisters as a base. Having stayed in the same apartment in 2012, we remembered the benefits of the location, and used the bus system (lines 19, 22, 11, 14) for all travels except for the tube transfer back to Heathrow - very reasonable fares using Oyster cards. We were out and about every day. I must commend the renters (and Jackie) for keeping the apartment in such good condition, during the past five years. We noticed no signs of deterioration - still a very comfortable, clean, but small apartment. We were most appreciative of the fast wifi this time, making day to day planning much easier.

Thanks Jackie, we had another great week in London, and hope to be able to return again. Beautiful daffodils in the parks!

Very handy location for tourists. Jackie very professional from start to finish so communication was easy. All in all a great stay. We will be back.

Cosy appartment

  • 4 of 5

Jackies appartment was everything as described, a little small , perfect for a short visit and we were rarely there so it worked well for our holiday. Although we didn't get to meet Jackie, Marc was more than accomodating for our needs and available if anything was required

Thanks Jackie

Small but perfectly formed!!!!

  • 5 of 5

Just as described in previous reviews the studio was very small but it was so cozy and bright that very quickly we got used to it!! I stayed for 10days and my 19yr old daughter for 4wks. It was perfect! My daughter was attending a course at Oxford Circus and it was a 15min tube ride for her. The area is very safe and the shopping is fab. I spent my days wondering around, revisiting the V&A and Natural History museums which you could see from the window! The view over the chimney pots was lovely and I spent a couple of relaxing afternoons reading the paper with the sun streaming in - the studio is high enough up not have light blocked out and is South facing.

The room was warm, the windows were drafty and noisy with the wind but the weather settled down and we got used to it - we were never cold!

It's a great place to stay and Jackie was lovely to deal with ( she even arranged for me to drop our bags in on changeover day much earlier than the key pick up time, which was great!).

The pictures and description are exactly what you get - I would highly recommend staying there, we loved it!!
