About Brianne

I grew up here and now split my time between Seattle and Bar Harbor. I love sharing my local knowledge and am happy to answer questions or help you plan your vacation. I am an avid hiker and biker and know the trails of Acadia very well!

Brianne purchased this townhome in 2005

Why Brianne chose Bar Harbor

My family and I built this townhome in 2005 in the same neighborhood I grew up in!

What makes this townhome unique

I love so much about our home from relaxing in the backyard with a cup of coffee, to enjoying family time in the bright and comfy living room. It's awesome to be able to jump on bikes and ride to the carriage roads or coast into town in the car. We also love being able to walk with our clubs to the course or for a tasty lunch at the club house.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This was our first visit to Bar Harbor. What a beautiful area for exploring! The weather was perfect and the food delicious. The townhouse was so nice and clean. We especially enjoyed the location away from the traffic and crowds. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience.

Great townhouse in bar harbor

  • 5 of 5

When we checked into the townhouse everything was clean and just as shown in pictures. It was great to be so close to downtown and Acadia national park . There are so many things to do in the area , we need to return to see them all. I would highly recommend this property.

We love the location, the townhouse and all that Acadia had to offer! The home was clean, kitchen stocked and neighborhood quiet. We will certainly make this town and this rental an annual trip!

Lovely townhouse with easy acess to Acaida

  • 5 of 5

We loved the Northridge townhouse. We were very impressed with the cleanness, comfort of the beds and the helpfulness of the owners. The Barkers provided great insight into hiking, biking, restaurants and more. The extras at the house were so nice (for example a basket of books about Acaida, laundry room with detergent and more) We truly felt at home during our vacation. It is also nice the townhouse is so close to Acaida entrance and downtown Bar Harbor.

Fantastic townhouse in a fantastic location.

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this house was just perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen (including a dishwasher!!) to the comfortable living room and the spacious bedrooms. The house backs up to the woods, and we saw deer back there many times. You can sit and eat on the deck or on a lower patio right next to the woods. The best part is that you are so close to downtown Bar Harbor, yet the house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We were able to get downtown in 2 minutes. We were also able to easily get to many of our favorite hikes on the island in no time at all. Even crossing over to the west side of the island is quick because you're right off of 233. I recommend this place very highly. We had a wonderful week!

Great home in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

When we were looking for a place to stay in Bar Harbor and found this home we were slightly concerned about the lack of recent reviews but decided to give it a try anyway. I am so glad we did! This home is in a great location close to Acadia, downtown, and hiking trails. We walked into town everyday and also hiked and biked right from the property. Since we were there at a busy time for tourist, when we did drive into town it was a challenge to find a parking space but we were always able to do so. It was so nice to come back to a quiet home after spending time in town! We had 4 adults in our party, and there was plenty of space in the home. We only cooked dinner in one evening, but we could have easily done so every night since the kitchen was so well stocked. The Barkers have many staples in the home that we have had to buy at the store when renting other places such as paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, spices and so on. They even left 2 cold locally brewed blueberry beers with frosted mugs in the refrigerator ready for our arrival! We had one extremely minor problem with the dryer and Mr. Barker came right over when we called. We highly recommend a trip to Bar Harbor and that you stay at the Northridge Townhouse when you are there. You will not be disappointed.

Great comfortable townhome!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house in August 2011 and enjoyed our stay. The house in centrally located between

the town of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park-just a mile either way. The house had everything

you could possibly think of. The house was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. We definitely

will return!
