About Marty Burke
We built our home in 2013, and split time living here and in Vermont. We rent it very infrequently, and limit renters to groups of no more than 6. Ideal renters would be small families (couple and 2 or 3 children), or two couples. This is our primary residence for much of the year, and we take great pride in our home. So we expect our renters to respect our space and treat it with as much care and consideration as if it were their home.

Why Marty Burke chose West Brewster
The interior space is designed for today's open plan living, with all the modern conveniences, and the charm of cape cod evident throughout. With 3 bedrooms - master en-suite downstairs, another master suite upstairs, plus an additional bedroom and a den/library. Three and one-half baths, plus living room with fireplace, dining room, and beautifully appointed kitchen, you will have plenty of room to rest and re-charge after a day of activity. Or you can enjoy just relaxing and unwinding in quiet comfort, in front of the no-fuss gas fireplace, or outside, on an Adirondack chair in front of a blazing fire, eating s'mores and watching the stars.
What makes this House unique
The home is beautifully and comfortably furnished and features a state-of-the-art kitchen with stainless appliances, gas range, dishwasher, and granite counters. Wireless broadband, cable TV, Apple TV and fantastic cell reception will keep you connected if you so choose. Our home is next door to the towns of Dennis, Chatham, Harwich, and Orleans, and a short drive to Wellfleet and Provincetown for wonderful site-seeing, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and shops. The town of Brewster has over 40 fresh water ponds and 4 of the cleanest in all Cape Cod if you prefer a jump in a lake! Abundant walking trails - covering forest and the bay - are across the street from our home at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, or a 5 minute drive away at the 600 acre Punkhorn Parklands. Nickerson State Park - 10 minutes away in Brewster - offers incredible recreational opportunities. The Cape Cod National Seashore stretches for over 30 miles from Orleans to Provincetown, and is a very short ride away to some of the finest ocean beaches on the East Coast. Our home is an easy, scenic 5 minute walk to Paines Creek Beach, a tidal bay beach, considered by many to be the most beautiful of Brewster's 8 bay beaches. We are also a stone's throw from: Kate's Seafood for the Cape's famous fried clams and ice cream, a coffee shop, and a great liquor store. What else could you need? :) Stellar fresh water swimming, excellent golf courses, hiking and cycling on the famous Cape Cod Rail Trail are also in close proximity to our home.

Exceeded our expectations!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming Cape Cod house. The house was finished to an extremely high standard, was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. Marty and Sandy were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction with regard to things to see and do in the area and were keen to make sure we had all we needed. A very tranquil setting (a large beautiful garden with lots of interesting wildlife) ensured peace and quiet, yet we were within easy reach of Cape Cod attractions. Whilst the nearby beaches were lovely it was also great to get on the bikes provided and cycle the easy trails to the nearby freshwater ponds. Kate's Clam shack is as must. We hope to return.
