We went for a family holiday. Great house and gardens, lots of space and very comfortable bedrooms. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and communication was easy and clear. I absolutely recommend this place.

Beautifully Romantic house and setting.

  • 4 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this lovely Tudor House. Really enjoyed walking along the canal. Close enough to enjoy the delights of Stow on the Wold and the Slaughters. Worcester is pleasant, you can also join a river cruise there. Enjoyed an afternoon watching county cricket at New Road. Plenty of restaurant choice in Doitwich Spa. The house is situated next to a decent golf course ,who do rent clubs for £5, which is excellent value. Would definitely recommend this house and we will return in the future.

Great Home to Rent...highly recommended by us

  • 5 of 5

Loved so much of this historic home. The grounds near the canal, seeing the boats go by, the sheep in the fields. Richard and Glenda are wonderful to work with and we highly recommend this rental. Droitwich is very well located near the Cotswolds and really every place in England and Wales...with a small-town touch.

Fabulous Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

What a special time we have had in this delightful home. After spending the past five weeks in The Old Manor, perhaps the greatest compliment we can pay is to simply say how difficult we found it to leave - our family (2 adults and 3 active boys) were all very sad. It was truly a memorable experience and exactly what we were hoping for (more in fact). The owners/caretakers were great and made us feel very welcome. How wonderful it was to have everything one could want in a home away from home (kitchen, linens, books - I mean everything). If you're looking for a little haven and a quintessential English house look no further. You are close to wonderful stately homes, beautiful countryside and nearby sites (eg. Cotswolds, Stratford). There are no negatives to this home and we are a fussy family! We would come back in a heartbeat.

It was heaven

  • 5 of 5

The old manor was just stunning. I could live there for the rest of my life. It was so cosy and comfortable. It was so well appointed with lots of crockery and glasswear etc we were able to hold my MIL 80th birthday party luncheon there. The sun even shined so we could have it outside in the glorious garden. Everything you could need away from home was there.

The owners and property manager were very helpful with descriptions and details and showed us the local walks along the canals to the pubs :-).

As a property for a family you couldn't get better and I now feel confident that should we ever decide to brave a trip to the UK in winter and could stay at the Old Manor it would be a very successful trip.

Thank you do much Richard and Glenda for such a wonderful property.
