Newly renovated property in the heart of the French Quarter within walking distance of great attractions like The House of Blues; world famous restaurants such as NOLA, Galatoire's, Arnaud's and more; also only a few blocks from Bourbon Street and the Casino. One block away is a local watering hole by the name of the Chart Room Bar at 300 Chartres. Meet the locals or just people watch. Sobou (South of Bourbon) Bar and Restaurant is great for dinner or if you want drinks at a more upscale location. Walk to Central Grocery for a Muffaletta, or to Cafe du Monde for cafe' au lait and beignets. Frenchman St. at the back of the Quarter has great local entertainment including Snug Harbor for dinner and jazz depending on who's playing.

The neighborhood has many restaurants and bars ranging from formal to casual.

About Mike

Born and reared in New Orleans. Property is basically family owned and operated. We completely refurbished and put back into commerce a property that was neglected for many years. The 300 block of Decatur St where the property is located has undergone major reconstruction over the last 3 years. We are in the process of renovating other properties in the french quarter. We are proud to contribute to the French Quarter's improvement.

                                                        Great Base for Exploring New Orleans

                                                        What can I say - the apartment is great and very well situated for exploring the French Quarter and the downtown area. The Canal and St. Charles street car lines are just a short walk from the condo if you want to go farther afield. Four of us spent 5 wonderful nights in this spacious, well furnished condo over St. Patrick's Day weekend and we had a great time there. The owner even thoughtfully provided snacks, cold beverages and coffee.

                                                        Both bedrooms are very nice, with large windows affording views of the House of Blues patio. One bathroom was full en suite with its bedroom; the other was accessible from its bedroom and from the hall. A perfect situation if you have guests!

                                                        And speaking of guests... the condo was a perfect gathering spot for our group, some of whom were staying in nearby hotels. The kitchen was well stocked with glassware and dishes so we were able to put together a cocktail party for every one in our group before heading out to dinner. The living room had comfy chairs and a couch so we could sit and catch up with our friends who had come from all parts of the country.

                                                        The building seems very secure and the elevator is spacious and always worked when we were there. There is no onsite parking, which can be a bit of drag but there are public parking garages in the area and even some hotels which will allow you to park in their facilities on a space available basis. We were lucky enough to park at the Marriott on Canal our last night so it was easy to move our luggage from the condo to the car.

                                                        We would definitely stay there again. Great place! Great people!

                                                        Great condo located in a French Quarter. Owner goes above and beyond for his guests leaving wine and treats upon our arrival. Its a very well maintained unit with plenty of room for all. Would definitely stay here again when visiting New Orleans.
