We had a lot of questions about the rental process during this time of quarantine, and we could not get in touch with Theresa in a timely manner to get our questions answered. The email with the code to enter did not arrive until the morning after we were to check-in, which left me Having to tracking her down that afternoon.
The property, location and Nantucket itself were perfect despite limited venues and having to wear a mask in town.
Great cottage in a great location with easy parking.
five star plus!
loved it!!! the perfect cottage for my solo week on nantucket. beautifully decorated, absolutely pristine, and so comfortable....with water views!
the manager was exceptional and worked to accommodate an unexpected extra day!
We'll be back!
Our compliments to the house designer, builder, decorator, and house cleaner. Nice private grilling area and outdoor seating/dining area. Great location, quiet neighborhood and a short walk to downtown. . Theres also a small beach and kayak rental place (closed for season when we were there) just across the road. Property manager very responsive and offered to help us with additional night when the ferry's were cancelled due to high winds.
Can't wait to come back!
We loved "The Lizzie" from the moment we arrived. This wonderful one (or two) bedroom home was a five minute walk from the ferry. Perfect location as we were out of the buy town but close enough to easily walk. The unit has a wonderful kitchen, very nice living room, a small dining area (we didn't use since there were only two of us, nice bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom, kitchen and dining area all have view of the harbor. There is a really nice front deck with two tables that seat 2 and views of the water and a side patio with grill and larger table. Theresa was very responsive and helped us with restaurant planning and such. I highly recommend the walking tour from the Whaling Museum and then the Nantucket Island Tour. These give you a great lay of the land and a historical perspective of the island. The restaurants are endless (and very expensive by mainland standards) but Queequeg and Slip 14 stood out as the best food at not totally crazy prices. Even though it was rather late in the season, you still need reservations and our 4 day visit was fantastic.
