1967 vintage Airstream, the "Desert Diva," with her own antique claw tub and bidet.
As seen on Nat Geo, "Badlands Texas," which highlighted my new business, Tin Valley Retro Rentals. Located near the National & State Park, along with the art and culture scene. Property sits on 90 private acres against the mountains, the solitude, and the magnitude of stars & milky way directly overhead. Great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and fur babies. (pets) Property has 10 rental sites at this time. 1.5 miles of dirt road but is well maintained so low profile vehicles will be go a bit slower.
Property is located 35 miles from Terlingua, Terlingua Ghost Town, Study Butte, and the front entrance of the Big Bend National Park. Property is 5 miles from the back entrance of Big Bend National Park. (High clearance and/or 4 wheel drive suggested for this route.) Property 4 miles from Terlingua Ranch Lodge, which provides shower house, laundry facility, swimming pool, and a full service restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (Music on weekends.) Closest grocery store is 20 miles. Closest gas station is 35 miles.
A small microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot are provided in your RV. There is also a small BBQ grill outside, and a larger BBQ pit in the communal fire pit area. Linens, towels, and eating utensils are provided.
Tin Valley is about solitude, tranquility, and silence, so all we ask is that you be respectful of other guests during your stay.
Absolutely no loud music; however, if you play a musical instrument we definitely invite you to play at your campsite.
We are a pet friendly community, as we have 3 pups, 7 kitties, and SAMPSON, who is a miniature burro! We also understand that dogs will bark from time to time, but please assist in bringing any barking to a halt quickly. PLEASE NO dogs that continually bark, and absolutely NO aggressive or destructive dogs allowed.
With that being said we LOVE fur babies and welcome them!!!
Do not get upset if your cell phone or wifi does not work in the Big Bend area. You will most likely be able to send/receive text but NOT phone calls. I do have wifi on the property so that you can make calls thru wifi.
Just take a deep breath and say V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N!!!!
