The four square architectural design was based on the concept of dividing a simple structure into four equal rooms popular at the turn of the century. A complete inside upgrade was accomplished in 2010. Historic color palette was used, original oak floors refinished, new plumbing and wiring. Mature trees, flower beds, lawn. Four porches with seating area, wide paved driveway. Very peaceful, quiet neighborhood.

Why Sandy Fliniau chose Walden
Kyle's, the Historic Four Square has been owned by Sandy's family since 1946 and was her only home until she and Charlie married. The property was passed on to their son, Kyle. Believing that North Park is the place to be and Kyle's is a place of respite, the home is now graciously offered for the enjoyment of the traveling public.
What makes this House unique
This home is warm and inviting, natural light sparkles through south and west facing windows. Furnished in a charming blend of antique and modern. Original hardwood floors glow. All new stainless steel kitchen and large walk in shower. Four pillared porches provide a great opportunity to observe birds and wildlife up close while enjoying the quiet tranquil outdoors in the homes beautiful mature native landscape. Kyle's is within strolling distance of just about everything in town, 1/2 block from the city park, 2 blocks from "down town" where you will find a library, museum, the local pub and dining, 1 block from the indoor public pool, yet appears to be remote. Walden is the hub of the community and is nearly surrounded by the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge with access one mile from town.

The home is beautiful, very clean, and well appointed. We loved staying here and would love to come back. The owners, Sandi and Charlie, were very responsive and provided exceptional hospitality. We loved talking to them about the home and the history of Walden, Colorado. We were pleasantly surprised about how roomy the home is. We are grateful for all Sandi and Charlie did for us. They made our stay very special.
