Why Pat Dennison chose Dunfermline
This is a real back to nature place but not far from the major attractions which Edinburgh has to offer - theatres, cultural events, the world-famous Edinburgh Festival. It is ten minutes walk to two pubs, a restaurant and a cafe.
What makes this Cabin unique
Unrivalled views of the River Forth. Set in a secluded, very private habitat but less than 20 minutes from Edinburgh by train.

Had a great holiday here this July, lucked out with sunny weather to enjoy the fabulous views with, even seeing a deer nearby! The location was ideal for visiting Edinburgh Centre on the train and returning to relax away from the hustle and bustle. We received a great welcome from Pat and Michael, thank you so much for the welcome food pack, and would thoroughly recommend staying here. Thank you!
Fabulous birthday treat
Stunning location, immaculate and charming lodge. Lovely friendly and helpful owners. Thank you so much for a lovely stay at your beautiful cabin we will defiantly visit again. Best wishes Nikki & Paul
Small but comfortable.
The welcome pack was an added bonus.
The cabin has a wonderful view of the firth with a waterside walk to town also available.
One big benefit of this cabin is it’s easy access to Edinburgh via nearby Park and Ride and train service.
Sea view to die for .
From arrival to departure we felt nothing could have made our stay more enjoyable . Situation was ideal for us , short walk to station for train into Edinburgh , slightly longer walk to a nice pub which did good meals . Overall if you don,t mind a bit of walking the cabin is ideal . The views of the bridges are excellent . Made us feel very welcome . Would highly recommend .
We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in the cabin. It was a pleasure to have you here; and we're glad the bread went down well!

Enjoyed our stay, the view over the Forth was spectacular. Property was a little on the small side but overall a very pleasant experience.
Could not fault this property at all!
Came up with my partner for a long weekend and it suited our needs perfectly, was a 5 minute walk from the train station so was easy to get into Edinburgh daily!
The view alone from the long cabin made our stay worth while, couldn’t think of a better view too wake up to everyday!
The cabin was perfect for our needs and was lovely to arrive to find some essentials already there such as a homemade delicious loaf of bread, cereal, milk and even a bottle of wine!!
Was very unfortunate that whilst on our stay the owners of the cabin was on holiday as would of loved too meet them and the lady running the cabin whilst they was away we also didn’t manage too meet because of busy schedules! However was very easy too locate and they left a lovely book explaining everything too us!
Would definitely book this cabin again was an amazing stay!!
Thank you for having us
