One bedroom apartment with private shady terrace overlooking the kunuku

'Bonaire16' is a secluded hillside paradise on the outskirts of the quiet residential area Lagoen Hill. As we are located at a dead end street the main sound you'll be hearing comes from the birds, goats and donkeys. Apart from the two studio's you have the oppertunity to stay at 'Bonaire16C', a one-bedroom apartment available for short and long-term rental.

This furnished apartment has his own parking space and private entrance. It has a living-room with a kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. It's shady private terrace overlooks the garden and kunuku and there is always a cooling breeze. All the comforts you need for a relaxing stay plus lots of privacy, shade and wind.

'Bonaire16' will give you access to discover the treasurers of the path less travelled. Those tired of the hectic city life may unwind at this oasis and set their watch to Island time. It is a tranquil and natural setting with spectacular views of the Island. After a day filled with activities, sightseeing or sunbathing, you can cool off on your private shaded patio. When hunger hits, indulge your appetite and sample international specialities in one of the restaurants in Kralendijk, which is a mere 7 minute drive.

We advise you to make reservations for a rental car or a scooter. Bonaire may be a small island, but you want to explore the island a car is an invaluable asset. The license plates on Bonaire may read “Divers Paradise”, but it would be a mistake to think that great diving and snorkelling are the only activities for which the island is famous.

Everyone should be able to, for a reasonable price, experience Bonaire. Discover it's natural beauty. The Island is so much more than only the worldfamous divingspot.

We stayed at this property during our third visit to the island. The beauty of the island and the seclusion of this accomodation makes it all almost perfect.
