First, the townhouse is very nice. It was easy to find and near places to eat, hop on the freeway, etc. I travelled from Illinois, all women and children total 8. We had plenty of space. However, upon arriving, we could not get in the gate. I tried the gate code printed out in the instructions and it didn’t work. I called the assistant who was covering for the owner who was out of the country. She told me to try a second number and it worked. After going in the rental, I started taking pictures and checking everything out. I immediately noticed the linen was all dirty. We stripped the beds and started washing. We went looking for the pool, wasn’t sure where it was. The pool was dirty, trash was in it etc. I called the assistant and sent pictures. She asked about sending someone to clean the house. I informed her we were washing. Nothing was mentioned about the pool. I spoke to the owner prior to booking and specifically asked about the pool. There was no mention of it not being usable or inoperable. We were there Tuesday-Saturday and could not use the pool. The assistant told me on Thursday evening someone would clean it that week. Never was cleaned. The sliding patio door on the back is not secure. My grandson took the garbage out the back sliding patio door. I tried to locked it but the lock would not catch. You can’t push it firmely into the lock because the latch pops open. You can slide it gently just enough for the lock to catch. So, we decided to put chairs in front of the door for added security. After traveling to Galveston for the day, gate code wouldn’t work. Now we had two cars behind us. One of the drivers go out and use maybe a key card or something to let us in. Now, we can’t get in the rental. Because we were concerned about the back door, we locked the bottom lock on the front door. Big mistake, we didn’t know we could not lock the bottom lock. It’s 9pm and I call the assistant. She lives 25 minutes away in Sugarland. Now, my 10yr old grandson tells me check the back door because it doesn’t lock. So, he climbs the fence and yes, the back door slides right open and we just move the chairs that we had placed in front of the door. I called the assistant again. Now the next two nights we place all the chairs in front of the door. I was really disappointed with the pool and the back door. I’m writing my review almost 3 weeks later because on 7/21 I reached out directly to the owner and he responded that he was traveling.

Comfortable and clean

The condo worked great..... We ended up with fewer guests than originally planned. It was just my husband and I..... So we had plenty of room. The location was perfect for us. Mark was great to deal with as well!

Not happy with overall experience

I had to ask for my deposit refund. I checked out Jan 21 requested refund Feb 2. I did receive prompt response. Cold and rainy weekend. Entry code did not work. UPS exited so we entered through exit gate. We requested code by text then called owner when we went out to dinner. He did send correct code after verbal communication. We could not control thermostat. Downstairs comfortable but upstairs hot. Handrail on stairs repaired but questionable. Only One TV One Sofa One love seat, so not enough seating for my party of 10. You need a key to take out trash. If you do not park in back then you may have to walk through mud. Bedrooms have blinds but no curtains, so bring your sleep mask. Broom available but no dust pan. If you plan to cook bring all necessary items. No salt and pepper. House is very nice and clean . I did get what I paid for. Bill detail said I had 2 extra guests, not sure if my daughter's 6 month old baby should have an extra guest.

ITS A STANDARD THERMOSTAT, NOT SURE WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM, THERE HAVE BEEN NO ISSUES BEFORE OF AFTER FROM ANY GUEST WHO COULD NOT CONTROL THE THERMOSTAT TO THEIR PREFERRED TEMPERATURE. Downstairs comfortable but upstairs hot. AS YOU MAY KNOW HOT AIR RISES, ITS COMMON FOR 2ND FLOOR TO BE HOTTER THAN FIRST FLOOR. IF YOU COULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD THE STANDARD THERMOSTAT CONTROLS THAN YOU COULD HAVE LOWERED THE TEMPERATURE. I WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY ASSISTED OVER THE PHONE IF YOU HAD JUST CALLED ME WITH THE ISSUE. Handrail on stairs repaired but questionable. THE HANDRAIL IS SECURED AND FUNCTIONS PERFECTLY. Only One TV One Sofa One love seat, so not enough seating for my party of 10. WE ADVERTISE ONLY ONE LARGE TV IN LIVING ROOM. THERE ARE 8 ADDITIONAL CHAIRS IN DINNING WHICH ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO BE USED FOR ADDITIONAL SITTING IN LIVING AREAS, ALL TOGETHER, 13 PEOPLE CAN SEAT COMFORTABLY IN THE LIVING ROOM. You need a key to take out trash. If you do not park in back then you may have to walk through mud. THE REAR DOOR HAS A LOCK WHICH IS EASILY UNLOCKED BY MOVING THE LEVER. NO KEY IS NEEDED. THERE IS NO MUD IN THE CONCRETE PATIO OR REAR COVERED PARKING AREA, ITS ALL HARD DRIVE WAY. STATING THAT IS MUDDY IS NOT TRUE. Bedrooms have blinds but no curtains, so bring your sleep mask. BEDROOMS HAVE BLINDS AND PICTURES SHOWS IT. Broom available but no dust pan. MUST HAVE BEEN MISPLACED, WE HAVE REPLACED IT. If you plan to cook bring all necessary items. No salt and pepper. WE DO NOT PROVIDE FOOD ITEMS FOR COOKING, WE PROVIDE PLENTY OF COOKWARE House is very nice and clean . I did get what I paid for. Overall it was very clean and comfortable. The pool, a community pool, was dirty both days we tried to use it be and there is no hot tub. Very quiet neighborhood but a lot of road construction in the area but if you use GPS you can get around it

Good, Safe and Private Accomodations

Attending a family wedding within Houston Tx needed a place like this in order to be comfortable with adequate privacy and safety. With 11 relatives from four different states the rooms were plenty large and comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs by the bedrooms and 1/2 a bath on the main level. The main level has a full kitchen with dining area and a living room with bed sofa. We had a good time 5 days there. Only 2 minor details of the unit are one bathtub was slow draining and one toilet upstairs was pending repair that are likely fixed soon.

Awesome!

Clean and comfortable and close to City Centre! Our host came to our rescue when we locked ourselves out... gracious and accommodating! Definitely would stay here again!
