Beautiful cabin with an awesome atmosphere!
We visited the cabin for a corporate leadership retreat. The cabin itself was able to satisfy the needs of all 17 guest and served as a fantastic backdrop for working during the day and hanging out at night! We had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our annual Girls Trip at this amazing home . We have rented numerous homes over the years, however this home was stocked with everything pots , pans ,shampoo, cooking utensils etc! We did not need to leave the home , it was so much to do , We loved the theater room, the bar, and the pool! The large deck was amazing ,and the yard , for all of our daily themed days !! Seafood Broil, Masquerade night Wine and design , movie night! We made great memories ! #HoltLindsayGirlsTripyear11

Endless entertainment: the river, media rm & games
Don't let this expansive property fool you. It's not just for reunions & corp retreats. Our smaller group felt right at home for a long weekend of cooking in the beautifully outfitted kitchen, lounging by the pool, playing in the cool clear Toccoa River and (ok, we admit it) binge-watching OZARK. Bedrooms and towels galore, we felt like royalty. We could each find a quiet spot if needed, for reading or working...or napping. Love this special property.

BED BUGS! *** BEWARE! *** NEGATIVE 5 STARS!
This house appeared to be a nice rental due to their high reviews. Unfortunately, that is about the extent of our positive experience.
Like I have stated, this place was infested yes, INFESTED with bed bugs in the main master suite on the first floor (we saw bed bugs in bed frame, all over the mattress, couch, rugs, corners of the room and closet next to the baby crib). We have pictures and videos. Unfortunately, by the time we noticed the bed bugs it was the fourth night at 1am at which point our entire party was woken up. At that point we concluded that we need to inspect and try to sanitize all our belongings throughout the night since the bed bugs had three days and three nights to infest our belongings. No one could leave before trying to sanitize their belongings or risk bringing the bed bugs to their homes since the guests were all over the house that slept in the master suite. BIG HEADACHE!
Furthermore, after reaching out the owner/property manager they simply stated that "Fortunately we have not had a problem before" and insinuated that we brought the bed bugs into the house. Unfortunately for them we were taking photos and videos from day one and now looking back at them you can see the evidence of bed bug nests and fecal matter all over the bed frame, and unfortunately for us we didn't notice or even think to look or inspect for bed bugs in this highly rated and expensive rental.
Plus, this place was not that clean as they claim, check under your beds and check the bar area downstairs and other corners of this house to see how they don't clean the property before you arrive (thick layer of dust and bottle caps, dead bugs and so on).
They ultimately only care about their highly rated reviews and financial bottom line. We would have not stepped one foot inside this rental knowing that the bed bugs were there (if this was something that is visible like mold, it would've been easy to leave the first day). Hence, we demanded a full refund for all four nights and thus far they believe they're being gracious by refunding us our deposit and one night stay. They already admitted their guilt, but still think that it was okay for us to stay there or would have stayed there knowing that bed bugs were there biting us and infesting our belongings. They refuse to take responsibly for their property and DO NOT VALUE our time and experience. Which is what we paid for.
There are far better rental properties in Blue Ridge, GA that we've stayed at!
DISHONEST and OPPORTUNISTIC BULLY…BEWARE!
First of all, this guest flagrantly violated her rental agreement from day one. We determined later (lots of fun photos on social media, family portraits etc.) that she had 20+ guests in the house and lied to us about it and paid for just 10. That’s at least $700 that she unapologetically stole from us! Obviously, we are very sorry about the bedbugs, but despite our immediate attention to this issue (and a significant refund), she threatened us with bad reviews, calls to BBB, VRBO, etc. if we did not give her a FULL refund. We feel she is trying to bully us and leverage this unfortunate bedbug situation into a free stay at one of the region's finest and most popular homes.
1. We would never have allowed a guest to stay at a property that we knew had an issue.
2. A team of 6 housekeepers ALWAYS thoroughly cleans the house after guests depart and take tremendous pride in their work. The excellent condition of the home is reflected in the 55+ five-star reviews on VRBO and the specific review comments about how clean and well maintained it is.
3. Upon receiving notice that there were bedbugs present, WE IMMEDIATELY HAD THE HOME THOROUGHLY INSPECTED BY EXPERT PEST EXTERMINATING COMPANY AND INITIATED THE APPROPRIATE TREATMENT. We forwarded the exterminator's report to the vacation rental agency and to BBB, and the CASE was CLOSED by both agencies.
4. Bedbugs are NOT a factor of how clean a home is. They are NOT indigenous to North Georgia and are brought in inadvertently when a guest picks them up somewhere else in their travels AND BRINGS THEM IN. They are not usually discovered until someone is bitten.
5. According to the professional report from the exterminator, the master bedroom was the ONLY room impacted by the bedbugs. NONE of the other 8 bedrooms had an issue. The guests enjoyed their 4-night stay up until the last evening and then only one room was affected. We did however refund the guest for one full night’s stay for the entire house, although the incident took place in just ONE OF THE NINE bedrooms.
6. The exterminator noted that because of the containment of the issue to one bedroom, the bedbugs had likely not been in the home for very long.
7. Per protocol, this home was thoroughly inspected by specialists again this week and THERE ARE NO BEDBUGS.
Beautiful place for a large family!
This home was well maintained with great attention to detail. We had a wonderful family reunion with 17 people and didn't even use all of the bedrooms. The owner and management was also very responsive and available.

100% refund minus a $50 cancellation fee if cancelled 60 days prior to arrival. Damage Protection is required for any damages or incidents that may occur during your stay. You are covered for anything that may happen so PLEASE report it to us so that we can file a claim if something does occur. We understand; things happen... The Damage Deposit covers any additional cleaning charges incurred if guests do not leave the property in the condition in which they found it with items returned to their original position. The cleaners need to be able to start cleaning the property when they arrive after your stay, not picking up after you, doing your dishes, putting furniture back where it belongs, collecting beer bottles, etc....We do offer daily cleaning service and highly recommend it. $1500 Event Fee to host an event on the property. Event fee includes onsite cleaning person for the day of and day after the event. Use of additional table and chairs. High top tables. Etc..
