Waikoloa is a golfer's paradise. It is also a beach paradise, an adventure paradise, a nature paradise, a geology paradise, shopping paradise, and an aloha spirit paradise.

The Fairway Villas at Waikoloa Beach Resort is located 25 minutes north of the Kailua-Kona Airport. This ten acre lush tropical paradise is situated within the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, in the same resort as the King's Golf Course and within minutes of all the Kohala coast resort golf courses. The west side of Hawaii is blessed with consistently dry sunny weather and is perfect for golf.

Our fully upgraded ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the private lanai and extended grassy area and overlooks the 9th fairway of the Beach Golf Course. You will love the fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen complete with cherry cabinets, granite counter tops and new stainless steel appliances, eating bar & swivel barstools. The master bedroom is large with a king size bed and a flat screen wall mounted TV. The attached master bath has both a tub and glass walled shower and is fully stocked with fluffy towels; there is a also a walk-in closet. The second bedroom features a queen size bed and a new flat screen TV; there is a second bathroom adjacent to that bedroom. We provide a Pack & Play crib, including sheets, for infants. We also have a new stacking washer and dryer for your use right in the hallway. The unit includes cable, phone, and free high speed internet access. The Fairway Villas complex has an infinity-edge pool, lava rock spa, workout facility and 6 gas BBQs. You will enjoy the short 5 minute walk to the King’s Shops and a 10 minute walk to A-Bay Beach. In order to keep this unit fresh and clean, this is a non-smoking unit. We have provided a fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, towels, fresh linens, beach gear, coolers & blue ice, and pretty much everything we could think of to make your stay comfortable!

The Fairway Villas are loaded with luxury features and distinctive Hawaiian plantation architecture. The Anaehoomalu Bay (A-Bay) fish pond and beach are located across the road and through the Marriott Outrigger; it is a short walk or a two minute drive. The sunset is beautiful from our lanai, but, sunset across the ancient Hawaiian fishponds never disappoint. The famous Hapuna Beach Park is just a ten minute drive on the Queens highway. Hapuna Beach is repeatedly named one of the ten best beaches in the world. Mauna Kea and Mauna Lani beaches are also close by; we prefer the A-Bay beach at Waikoloa where it is common to see turtles lounging on the sand.

The grounds are well kept and the infinity swimming pool is quite unique. The Kings' Shops are a few minutes walk around the lake for fine shopping and dining. There is even a food court for the kids or a quick snack. The Kings' Shops have a grocery store, exclusive boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, fine art galleries like the Dolphin Gallerie, Crazy Shirts, The Gecko Store, and live music. Adjacent to the Kings' Shops is The Queens' Marketplace.

Also in the Waikoloa Resort area is the Hilton Waikoloa, it is fabulous in itself, but, it also hosts the Dolphin Quest Center where you can swim with the dolphins. This is an experience you will not soon forget. The Big Island of Hawaii has a lot to offer everyone, from the active volcano where the rocks ooze, to secluded black sand beaches, four-wheel-drive adventures, scuba and snorkeling, hiking in rainforest and desert lava beds, biking, horseback riding, deep-sea fishing, surfing, parasailing, submarine adventures, and helicopter sightseeing.

Wonderful Vacation Condo

I would highly recommend staying at Seth's condo if you are interested in vacationing on the Big Island. The condo is very comfortable, very well equipped kitchen and laundry. The location is exceptional and we felt very safe being in a gated community. The grounds were very well kept and the pool was very clean and beautiful. We loved being close to the restaurants and shops. The lanai was great to sit at each morning with coffee. We even had a Nene bird with her small babies visit us one morning. Seth has been very friendly and easy to work with. Very affordable for families. We hope to visit Hawaii again and would love to stay at this condo again in the future.

Review of Property

We had a lovely time in this beautifully appointed unit, the living room wasn't quite as cozy as other units we have stayed in at Fairway, but functional for just the two of us since other family didn't come this visit. Unit was clean and orderly upon or arrival. The toaster was broken but was replace right away by the onsite manager. Once we got the hang of the new Nest air conditioning system it made things easier although there is a lot to be said for a plain old on off button. The only negative -there were lots of open condiments in the fridge, some that may have overstayed their welcome, such as salsa in a jar. I guess I can see leaving mustard and ketchup but some of the other items flustered me. We also have been careful not to leave cereal and such after we leave that doesn't appear to be others thoughts. Oh well, regardless we did have a wonderful time, the condo answered our needs perfectly. Our visit was sunny and bright and we did a lot of driving about this time since being in Fairway Villas is pretty central to all. Be sure to visit volcano and while you are there go to the Volcano Winery, it's almost across the street and to good to miss. Thank you to Ruma for allowing us to visit your palace (yes palace) away from our usual hectic pace. Mahalo

Owner's Response: We appreciate all reviews! From time to time things go wrong, but we do our utmost to remedy what we can in a timely manner. The non-working toaster was less than 6 months old, but we did replace it the next day, as noted. The living room couch and chair are also brand new. With a sliding glass door, and the TV on one wall, there isn't much room for a lot of furniture. We actually try to keep the unit light and airy, We installed the Nest thermometer to utilize the new technology that allows us to review the energy usage as the electricity is our highest expense. We provide instructions for its use in our arrival packet. Our arrival instructions DO state that the fridge is to be cleaned out upon departure, but that we allow fresh condiments and un-opened drinks to stay. I will remind my housekeeper to review the contents of the cupboards and fridge for items that should be tossed. We strive to provide a vacation experience that meets or exceeds our guests expectations.

Great Place!

Best place on the island for a condo stay. Beautiful grounds and walking distance to nice shops and restaurants. Very comfortable and tropical furnishings with great views of the sunset every evening. Unit was very clean with fresh towels and items handy for beach use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back again. We will definitely want to stay at this place again and the owners John & Ruma are the best!

Great Stay

The Fairway villa was as described in listing. We were so happy to have all the beach equipment supplied. The location is a plus, since we walked to the coffee shops and restaurants daily. Like the ground level location, also. Runa was very prompt with responses to any questions. We will definitely stay again.

The condo was everything we hoped for and more.

The condo was everything we hoped for and peaceful and quiet. The directions on how to get from the airport to the resort were very easy to follow. The Fairway Villas are located within easy walking distance to both the King Shops and the Queens Market as well as excellent restaurants. Roy's for fine dining, and The Lava Lava Beach Club for the good food and the the best sunsets. The Fish and Chips place near Roy's was a disappointment and not recommended. The Big Island has activities and adventures for anyone. Warm sandy beaches, Lava beds, rain forests, volcanoes and time to read a good book. Who could ask for more. As sort of a post script, we had a local contact if we had any issues in the condo. Fortunately, we did not need this service.
