Thank you for taking a look out our vacation home rental on Hayden Lake. Hayden Lake in Northern Idaho is a wonderful vacation spot. Your summer vacation begins with a scenic drive on the North end of Hayden Lake. You’re sure to see deer and turkeys. The area is relaxing with beautiful natural surroundings. Shops and restaurants in Hayden and Coeur d’Alene are just are a short drive away. Perfect destination to get away to enjoy time with family and friends. Great property to relax, explore the shops and sites in the surrounding area, and enjoy fishing and water sports on the lake. This lake has great fishing. Less crowds and calmer and warmer water make for great conditions. Westerly views provide sunshine later into the day. This side of the lake is backed by the beautiful Coeur D’Alene National Forest.
A rustic custom 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom log home on lakefront has a private beach and TREX dock. It has high end furnishings and decorations throughout. The home has central air conditioning, Dish TV, Wifi and an alarm system that includes a video doorbell. The home is on 1.2 acres with plenty of parking and space for your boat trailer. It sleeps 12 comfortably.
The main floor has beautiful vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, one bedroom with a Queen, large bathroom with double sink and shower, well-appointed kitchen with walk-in pantry, dining table for 8 with additional seating at the kitchen counter, living room looks out toward the lake with a two story stone stacked gas fireplace. This floor has a large HDTV with a Blu-Ray player and a surround sound stereo system. There are slider doors on both sides of the fireplace that take you out onto the West facing deck with chairs, outdoor speakers, a large Stainless grated propane BBQ and glass railings for open views. This deck wraps around to the front door and also has stairs to the side yard with a picnic table and a pathway down to the lake.
The large upper master loft bedroom has a King with tall dresser, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, large HDTV, Blu-ray player, loveseat sofa, and private bathroom with double sinks, shower, and a walk in closet.
The lower level daylights out towards the lake. It has a bedroom with two bunk beds with a twin over double, bathroom with single sink, bathtub, iron, ironing board as well as the washer and dryer. This level also has the family room with a entertainment bar and refreshment refrigerator, sleeper sofa with a Queen, 60” HDTV and Blu-Ray player, surround sound stereo, games and a pool table. There are two sliding doors that take you out to the lower patio and a gentle sloping pathway down to the lake.
Each bathroom is provided with bath towels, small heater, hair dryers, TP, Kleenex and gel hand soap. We also provide you with beach/lake towels.
The kitchen range has a convection range with a gas stove top, side by side refrigerator with ice and filtered water, dishwasher, microwave, everything you need to prepare and serve meals; with small appliances such as toaster, crockpot, blender, mixer, steamer, popcorn maker, waffle iron, food processor, fryer, coffee pots both K-Cup and drip; as well as basic supplies like paper plates, solo cups, napkins and trash bag supplies in the pantry.
We provide two kayaks and a two person canoe for your enjoyment along with a fire pit that is kept down on the beach. We provide you with plenty of firewood down on the beach. We recommend you bring beach chairs, fishing pools, bicycles along with your lake toys.
There are public boat launches on both the South (Honeysuckle) and North (Sportsman) sides of the lake. You can boat over to the Hayden Lake Marina for fuel, or to dine or have a drink at the Boathouse Restaurant. Boats can be rented at this marina as well.
There are many stores and restaurants along the 95 FWY and down town Coeur d’Alene. Coeur d’Alene has boat tours on the lake, the historic main street with its art festivals, restaurants and shopping, bike paths and rentals, and the Coeur d’Alene Resort with fantastic views from Beverly’s restaurant on the 7th floor. We also recommend The Porch near Hayden Lake Country Club and Wolf’s Lodge Inn Steakhouse East off the 90 FWY.
There are many nearby towns to explore; several golf courses in the area; bicycling the former train route Hiawatha between Idaho and Montana; and the Silverwood Theme Park just North in Athol.

The Route of the Hiawatha mountain bike or hike trail is 15 miles long with 10 train tunnels and 7 sky-high trestles. 12 miles past the town of Wallace. Shuttle buses available to transport you and your bike back to the top. Bring a sweatshirt it can get pretty cool inside the longest tunnel.
