Friendly, Happy, Easy going that's the way I would describe our selves. We love London, we know London, and we enjoy London so we want to share it with you. Walking, Dancing, cooking, travelling, volunteering and meeting people from all over the world make our balance.
Why Owner chose London Borough of Southwark
This studio is very Large, bright and tranquil. It is suitable for 4 people. It has its own private parking space, well, to say for London, this is a luxury. It has a park view, so it's very Quiet. Well situated to visit London at any time of day or night. Why? Simply because at the back of the studio, on the main road, you will find a multitude of buses(most of them on 24 h ride). They will take you in more or less 15/25 min to the heart of the city (Westminster/Piccadilly etc.) and by taking the bus at the opposite side you will be in 20 min to beautiful Blackheath/ Greenwich Village with its famous Observatory and park.
What makes this Apartment unique
Easy transport from any airport around London (Stansted, Heathrow, City airport etc.), and a bus drive (20/25 min to Eurostar/ St Pancras station. You will find at two minutes walk: 2 supermarkets (open late), groceries shops, pubs, coffee shop, places to eat and a nice big park with BBQ areas if you fancy to get your hands on. And more and more and more!!we will share it all with you during your stay with us.

flat fine, though not what i'd consider "large." and not as inviting compared to website photos. and mention ought be made that the mezzanine ceiling is low. did appreciate that my greeter waited until i manage to make it there. not immediately close to tube stations, but bus stops nearby and the varying routes did make getting around fairly easy, and the bus drivers were always friends and helpful. groceries nearby, too. and, when making inquiries prior to booking, always got a timely response from kily. however, once i booked and had a query, i did not hear back, even after two follow-ups. the requested information was imparted in the email received prior to departure/arrival, but i still deserved the consideration and respect of a response -- she merely could have let me know, initially, that that information would be included in the pre-arrival email.
Fantastic home base
Our family of parents and 2 teens stayed here for one week. It is super easy to catch a variety of busses that take you right into the city. The place is cozy! We enjoyed the peace and quiet there every evening. It is a place to regroup. It is a 5 minute walk to a supermarket that had everything we needed. Kily made sure we had access to help and had someone there to welcome us on Christmas Day in the evening. Thank you, for a wonderful home base in London!
not for older people
As others have stated, this is ideal for a younger couple looking for an inexpensive place to stay in London. Unfortunately for us, arthritis, a cold and wet weekend and low level furniture did not mix well.
Use of a parking space and the 'like home' facilities make this far more attractive than a hotel.
Great location, we really liked the multicultural feel about the area. The local Tesco next to the Bus stop is great, as you can get your Meal Deal of sandwiches drink and snack for three pounds, which is a great way to save cash with a family heading out to see the sights. We ate at a Lebanese grill on the high st a few doors up from the bus stop and an Indian Tandoor in Bermondsey, both of which were good. The apartment isn't luxurious, but if you are looking for somewhere to base yourself, you get great value here. Kily and her friend Serge were really helpful, as I was having email problems and lost the directions. They went out of their way to be helpful.
I would give it a solid 3.5
The facilities were nice.
We didn't know we would have to ask for a third blanket, I guess it was a cultural difference but I find the 63 extra pounds for an extra person a little steep.
The 53 and 453 bus got us in and out of the city at a cheap price.
But Kily did get back to us as fast as she could im sure.
Conveniently Located Accommodation
This is best for young couple on tight budget or family with kids.
The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful in getting around the city and the house.
