The Boothbay Region Land Trust operates more than 30 miles of year-round hiking trails in the area, and you can easily book a fishing charter in charming downtown Boothbay Harbor. Experienced sailors and sea kayakers should also take a day trip around the neighboring Pemaquid Peninsula, which is one of the loveliest untouched landscapes in Midcoast Maine.
