About ANNA RODOPOULOU
I am Anna your host! I am Greek, born in Istanbul where I spent my childhood. My family and I moved to Athens in 1974, where I completed high school and then got a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus. I am now a real estate agent and, most importantly, a mother of 3. I am also a member of a history club. I love exploring cultures, traditions and cuisines from all over the world. I am a very welcoming and friendly person and I get great pleasure in going out and about, continuously discovering secret corners in the lovely city of Athens with my friends and family. As a hostess, I will be happy to share any tips you may need concerning Athenian gastronomy, nightlife and cultural events to make you feel welcome in my beautiful city. I look forward to meeting you!

Why ANNA RODOPOULOU chose Athens City Centre
Plaka is one of the most picturesque neighbourhoods of Athens. There is a mystical atmosphere about it and a historical significance too (the house is surrounded by old streets including Tripodon, the most ancient Athenian street) that make it special in my heart.
What makes this Villa unique
The neighbourhood of Plaka makes you feel as if you are in a village. It has a unique beauty and calmness, an unparalleled character and unique architecture that almost make you forget you are right at the centre of Athens, with historic sites, shops, restaurants and streets buzzing with life around you. Having a coffee at the balcony that overlooks Lisiou street is a must!

Just Where You Want To Be
Anna was responsive to all of my inquiries within a short time. The house is very quaint, clean, comfortable, and within a short walking distance of everything you could possibly want or need. She also arranged very early morning transportation to Piraeus for us to catch the ferry to Santorini. One couple in our group had lost luggage and Anna stepped up and made calls to the airlines on our behalf. When you visit a foreign country it’s always nice to have someone there to help with anything and everything....and that’s Anna.
Very nice apartment. All amenities needed, perfect location, beds were very comfortable. Anna was extremely helpful and responsive. Thank you Anna for everything!
Ideal spot at the foot of the Acropolis.
Amazing duplex on a lovely street in the heart of the Plaka area. Incredibly comfortable, clean and well stocked. First rate experience!
Great place and location. A bit on the noisy side 10 PM to 3 AM so bring some good earplugs if you want to sleep. Anna was very helpful.
Great location and terrific space to experience Athens.
Charming Athenian home in the heart of the city
Could not be any happier with our choice of a place to stay while in Athens! The Athenian house is smack dab in the middle of Plaka and is surrounded by wonderful cafes, charming restaurants and alluring shopping. Easy to get anywhere and everywhere from this fabulous location! The house itself was just wonderful -- clean, comfortable and very well appointed. It easily fit our family of five - 2 adults and 3 teenagers...it could have accommodated 10 people. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, a welcome retreat after walking for miles each day exploring! Although we did not cook at all, the kitchen had everything you would need on hand to make wonderful meals. Having a washer and dryer was a real bonus too. Loved the upstairs balcony for a quick cup of coffee and a delightful view of the street. Anna was a gracious host that welcomed us at check-in and was available to us should we need her or had any questions. Highly recommend and would definitely choose again should I find myself in Athens!
Breakfast can be arranged to be delivered to the house upon request (not included in the price) or you can have it served at cafe Melina right next to the house after 8:30 at a 20% discount.
Plaka, also known as “the neighborhood of the Gods” due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites, is one of the most picturesque areas of Athens. Stroll around, enjoy the unique architecture, visit souvenir shops and shops with local products, go for a Greek coffee at cafe Melina or try out Greek cuisine dishes at tavernas like Zorbas. Everything is right at your feet!
Visit the Monastiraki flea market for a pleasant walk and maybe some Greek sandals and souvenir shopping! Look out to see traditional antique shops. Take a coffee break with great views
