Nice property in lovely location
We spent three nights at Reilly Ranch. The location gave us a fantastic break from the extreme heat in the Phoenix valley. The property is lovely -- the greatest feature for a multi-generational family long weekend was having three bathrooms along with the three bedrooms. The property is in beautiful condition and full of nice amenities. We enjoyed the large patio and even had a couple of deer venture down to greet us.
Tons of comfortable seating and ceiling fans in each room make for a cool and relaxing day of hanging out and enjoying the weather. The kitchen is smallish but very nice, and the property is close to the local restaurants.
We had one elderly person with us -- she noted that it would be very helpful to have a grab bar in the tub/shower of the main floor bathroom -- but otherwise the top floor and patio were very accessible.
Have no worries about booking this property - it's a great spot at a very reasonable price, and we would be delighted to return any time.
Owner thought of everything, smart floor plan
Property is elegant but cozy, easy to find but still hidden, and spacious yet nicely compartmentalized. You'd be hard pressed to find another 1600SF cabin with 3 en suite bathrooms, one for each bedroom. And there's a door or pocket door to section off each room. Our 2 year old went to bed and we stayed up much later without ever waking him up.
I'm also grateful the owner stocked all the things we needed (and didn't know we needed). We found and used the extra linens, electric griddle, children's step stool, hidden spice rack, washer dryer and detergent, dish rack, dish soap, and extra blankets.
Thanks again for being such wonderful hosts. Best wishes for you and your family.
Quite Little cabin
We celebrating my husbands fifth birthday and had a lovely time. The house is nicely decorated and every bedroom has a fireplace. The driveway is a little steep but manageable. Very lovely views from the patio.,
The property was wonderful! I would never go in the summer again, because there was no air conditioning. We brought our own fans which was not enough. The cabin was so insulatied, I assume for the snow In the winter. Everything else was terrific. We never went into the yard on the bottom floor because of all the weeds. I would recommend this lovely cabin. Every room had a bathroom which was wonderful and appreciated. We paid for cleaning and the cabin was mostly good. In the bathroom in the first bedroom, I opened the window above the tub because of the heat and there was a lot of dust and 3 dead flies. It was obvious they had been there for awhile. Who ever your cleaning service is needs to dust window seals through out better. We would like to thank you for a beautiful stay. In your description you say there is kayaking. There is none allowed.
Thank you for being such wonderful guests. I would like to say that unfortunately it was the hottest week recorded in tucson history that you visited. Most cabins on the mountain do not have AC because it is not needed but for sure was needed that week! Also, I looked to take down the item with kayaking and could not find that posted. I sincerely apologize about the flies in the window sill. I have notified the cleaning team and they will clean there regularly from now on. I think the flies even wanted to get out of the heat!! Ha. Once again, we enjoyed having you in our cabin. Please come again.
Peaceful, enjoyable, cool
The house had all that we needed. The place is peaceful and close to Summerhaven. The back deck with grill and fireplace was a real plus.
Peaceful, quiet alpine cabin...
...with comfortable beds and baths, is warm inside and has an inviting patio. Deer, squirrels and birds share Summerhaven with the few people who are fortunate to be here.
The Reillys were great hosts; responsive when contacted and otherwise discreet. Very enjoyable spot in the woods.
Cabin is not exactly descriptive; the two story house is recent construction, nicely finished and well insulated.
