About Ken and Linda Roth
Ken and Linda are high school sweethearts who grew up in Indiana, attended Purdue University, moved to Tampa after graduation, and raised their two girls, all while running a commercial landscape company. They were blessed to find Blue Ridge and purchase their first cabin in 2011. While constructing an addition onto their cabin, they developed a wonderful relationship with a creative and quality builder, Junior Deal. After Ken and Linda learned of Junior’s dream of building a treehouse, they decided to make Junior's dream come true and built their first treehouse, Canopy Blue, which was completed in 2016. Their experience was so fantastic with Junior and his partner, Matthew "Moose”, they built another treehouse, Inn The Ravine, which was completed in 2018. Junior and Moose, now owners of Blue Ridge Treehouse Builders, only build quality and creative spaces. Ken and Linda’s goal is to provide amazing getaways with lasting memories.

We had wonderful family time together this weekend. It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge with beautiful views. The treehouse has everything you need! Perfect location. We will be back!!
Our granddaughter wanted to stay in a treehouse for her grandma & grandpa trip. We found a HOUSE in a TREE! Even better than we thought it would be. Incredible place; INCREDIBLE views. We are builders/developers/interior designer - this place is well built and has lodge detail anyone will appreciate. Challenging “driveway” with our rental car but figured it out. If you’re wanting to stay in or near Blue Ridge, GA .............consider staying at Canopy Blue Treehouse. We didn’t even walk over to Inn at the Ravine. I’m sure it’s every bit as nice. But “our treehouse” made our granddaughters trip everything we wanted it to be. Thank you, Roth’s!!!!!
Blue ridge treehouse
We had a wonderful time at the treehouse. Beautiful scenery and property. The owners are so sweet and accommodating. I recommend bringing a truck as the drive to the property is straight up a hill and quite a bumpy ride. Also, the property is on a hill so no outdoor activities with kids...everything goes downhill. Even the fire pit is on a hill so please be careful with small kids. No flip flops! Need sneakers as everything has small rocks...no pavement. Kids loved the swing and hot tub. Was fabulous overall...thank you.
The property was better than advertised. The views from the home were just awesome. I was without tv for 5 days. That I didn’t like at all. The road was washed out. I reported that to the owner. Lucky I had an SUV or we wouldn’t have made it up the road. It was worth it for us. The kids had a great time. They espouse liked the hot tub. Blue Ridge is a great town. So much to do. The BBQ restaurants we our favorite places to eat. We had a favorite but I will keep that to myself. I know anyone would enjoy their stay. Definitely 5 stars!
Congratulations to our longest staying guest and for assisting in a new placement of the tv DISH. Tree foliage growth took off this year and swaying trees did cause for periodic interruptions. Glad we were able to get that fixed for you. The last half mile
Is dirt and sometimes heavy rains cause pot holes. We are working to put a culvert through at the driveways for those timid drivers. Good news is there are no steep drop offs and it should be resolved soon. Road is graded regularly but sometimes you my arrive just after lots of rain and right before our regular grading. Continually working at keeping our guests vacations memorable and hassle free.
Overall we had a great time, would definitely recommend this spot. Only issue we had is that the driveway had a steep hole and we were unable to get past it in our Honda element, we simply parked a little further down.
Wonderful treehouse getaway!
We came up to the blueridge mountains for quick visit and loved staying in the Canopy Blue treehouse! The home was very clean and close to the downtown Blueridge area which made it super convenient to get around. All in all we had a great experience and would love to come back.
Blue Ridge is known for it's rustic charm and adventure activities. The treehouse is located just 10 minutes from town, but sits against national forest. The drive is short, but please note that the last 1/4 mile is a dirt/gravel road that can get quite rutty at times. Low profile vehicles not recommended. Four wheel drive is not necessary but certainly helpful.
